"Clean room. Location was a little further away from campus than I thought. Rooms are all outside. They do offer free breakfast in the am which isn’t bad. They have hot items including eggs, potatoes, bacon & sausage. Waffle machine. A few drink options. Not bad at all. My bed was just softer than I like so I didn’t sleep as well. Overall decent place to stay. "

"Staying at Menlo Park Inn was a great experience for me and my daughter! We were in town for an appointment at Stanford Children's Hospital, which was a quick 10 minute drives to Menlo Park Inn. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was very clean and the amenities were great. I really appreciated the fridge, microwave, Nespresso maker, and very cozy robes! We also greatly appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We will definitely stay here again!"

"One-hundred-year-old hotel in the heart of Palo Alto, with walking to all the shops, Whole Foods, restaurants and the theater. The rooms are comfortable, the beds very nice, and the staff is terrific. If you don't have a car, it's a perfect location."

"A gorgeous hotel…we always love staying here! But this time, the shower water pressure was mild, not strong enough to wash ladies’ medium-long hair. All bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels were too rough..they must be new, as they were never like this before. The small hand towels in the Gym are very soft and lovely. The A/C system needs adjusting, since on Low and High it’s super noisy and blows air super high. On Medium it blows almost no air. It wasn’t like this in other hotel sleeping rooms in the past, so we think it was only this room, The Bar and Restaurant are so super delicious! We love dining here for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The Staff is so nice and helpful! It’s a fabulous hotel to stay at, close to everything, including Stanford Shopping Mall."

"The amount of noise is insane! There is a passing train with very loud alert every 15mins. Starting 5AM and up until 12AM. It is impossible to get decent sleep in this place. Also this is not obvious from the listing but there is no reception. Even though google maps states 24/7 reception. I went there 11pm and i didn’t know there is an online checkin process. I spent 25min on the phone before i was able to finally check in. Finally its not a real hotel but more of a residential building under a different name. I was asking where is the reception initially and people there were super confused. Overall extremely bad experience and it felt almost scammy. Surely one of my worst stays ever."
