Motor access to 2 km from the house. Parking at the house. Shop 4 km, grocery 4 km, restaurant 4 km, bar 4 km, bus stop 2 km, railway station "Balloch" 4 km, bathing lake 4 km. Sports harbour 4 km, golf course (18 hole) 5 km, tennis 100 m, riding stable 6 km. Nearby attractions: Balloch Castle 2 km, Vale of Leven Golf Club 5 km, Buchanan Castle and Golf Club 13 km, Argyll Forest Park 20 km, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park 33 km. Please note: car recommended. Baby equipment on request (included). The owner lives on the same property. Fresh flowers and welcome goodies on arrival.
2-room cottage 40 m2, on the ground floor. Comfortable and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with cable TV and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed and shower/WC. Open kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, microwave, freezer) with dining table. Oil heating, underfloor heating. Garden. Terrace furniture. View of the lake and the countryside. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, free). The 18th century Lorn Mill is in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park. Tucked away down a wooded drive the property is set within its own large private garden ocverlooking Loch Lomond. Enjoy peaceful days with outstanding scenery – the magnificent mountain backdrop with Ben Lomond and the Loch’s beautiful islands will be a lasting memory.

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful owners.

Lovely stay, great location and friendly owners, house was decorated with lovely paintings. Weather made it tricky to get there in the snow, and then the thaw kept driving difficult; but it was still accessible in a normal car. Had a lovely quiet Hogmanay in a cosy house in a location which was great for dog walks.
