"We arrived late in the evening and was greeted by a super friendly staff member with whom we later had great conversations with in the bar. We loved this place! The location was convenient and had uncovered parking, the breakfast buffet was super tasty, the room was very comfortable, and again- the staff was the best! Will definitely return!"

"The room was great, but the check in process was awful. The machine did not have our reservation - And it wasn’t just us. It appeared to not work for anyone. We got in late and are from another country so when we couldn’t check in and couldn’t phone the service number, we don’t know what we were going to do. Luckily, another guest was able to call the service number and activate a room key card for us - But then they could not check in either! Vet stressful at the end of a long day :("

"We had a terrible experience at this hotel. When we arrived we couldn’t checkin with the automated system which was a hassle. When we got a hold of someone on the phone and finally got into our room, it was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen (stains and shaved hair absolutely covering the bathroom sink, dirty underwear on the floor, dirty dishes in the kitchen, etc). When we called the desk, they moved us into a room that was basically in an active parking lot on the ground floor, so we couldn’t open our windows at night (and often found beer bottles on the windows in the morning). We were double charged and had to go through a huge hassle to get that solved. Start to finish this was a terrible stay, that said, it’s conveniently located and we heard the Business side of this hotel was much better than the Maier side. "

"The property was in a remote area and no transport to get into town except for irregular buses. No staff that speaks English or communicate effectively. No staff to talk to if any danger or emergency event occurs. This property is a remote dead-end area. The property is good, clean and the staff are nice but they speak little to no English. The dining and restaurant is closed almost throughout the day. The breakfast is very limited and very low quality. I think everything about this property should be reviewed before it is opened to foreigners that don't understand the swiss language or culture. This property is too beautiful and I think it is a waste for that location. The room and bed was not big enough too."
