"Cheap price for a decent motel. Looks sketchy at first, but room was nice, breakfast nice but didn’t start until 8am. If you need toilet paper just ask. English is limited but used google translate. In downtown convenient to places. It does have street noise most of the night like most hotels in Cairo. Has a great atm with no fees about 100 ft from motel. (Don’t use the closest one-it has fees). Has restaurant and lots of merchants all around. Shower is small and water runs across floor, but I...

"Interesting hotel built in 1935 and still has many of the features from that time. All the staff were absolutely wonderful. We had the romantic top floor room with a little garden and loved the privacy. Bathroom was a little dated but everything worked fine. "

"Our stay at the hotel from October 1st to 13th was very pleasant. The room was very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We would highly recommend this hotel, especially due to its central location."

"I stay in hotels at least 100 days a year. I know quickly if a hotel is one I will return to. This is one and I have returned to it for a second Cairo trip this year. The staff is fantastic and does not pressure you to take any tours with them.
Everything is great. The area is safe and very close to Midan Talaat Harb but not on it (thankfully). It is quiet, there is an easy walk from the street. "
"Service was great. Breakfast was a terrific buffet. Staff took good care of us. The room was clean. some stuff needed repair, and something really confused me. I asked to extend my stay, and the front desk person told me they were sold out. I went up to my room and booked it on Expedia, and came back downstairs and the very same person extended my stay....... very odd."
"This place was an incredible find. Within walking distance of the Taj Mahal and easy access to Tuk Tuk’s and drivers. The staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating allowing us to lounge on the rooftop terrace before and after our stay while waiting for our train. The food was great and I highly recommend the home cooked dinner with guests. Great food and great conversation with people from around the world. We will definitely be staying here next time we happen in Agra."
