"We had a wonderful time at the hotel, the beaches are some of the best in the world, all to yourselves. The food was always enjoyable with each meal being freshly prepared on site. Our stay was made extra special by the wonderful hosts who were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. "Very expensive and sadly there is a class system. Hotels.com advertised 3 pools but we could only use one which was not ideal and not enough sun beds. Paying £330 a night we wouldn’tn expect to be the ‘lower’ tier of guest. However, we loved our room even though no balcony and the food was incredible. Chinese restaurant was permanently closed though, again this was advertised as open. They could do with a lounge bar for the lower tier guests. Beach could do with a clean up, a lot of washed up rubbish and plastic plus random cargo boxes left to rot."

"It’s not glamping it’s a boutique hotel. Close to beach and good spot in the middle of ishigaki. Rooms were fantastic cabanas. Very comfortable. Nice sauna, pool was not heated which was the only drawback. we visited in winter. Dinner was huge and good value for bbq beef on a patio. Cheap beers and fireworks. Excellent free breakfast. Good romantic retreat not a family vibe. Isolated so you need a car!"

"We loved the privacy. That is what you’re paying for here. You are completely away from the world in this little tropical dream. The pool was amazing. We also liked snorkeling at blue cave and didn’t mind that it seems to be used for tour guides. I felt better being in the ocean with a few people around. Then back to the solitude of our house. Of course there are spiders and other critters given that you are somewhere tropical. The house lizards were cute. Make sure to stock up on anything you want before your stay so you don’t have to leave. Oh, also the chef is amazing and will accommodate any dietary restrictions if you notify them with enough time. "
