"Nice place to stay and convenient for the station. Good Japanese breakfast. Could not book the restaurant unless you gave them THREE DAYS notice!! However, this was overcome by the free saki tasting ( 4 shots pp each evening) and coffee wth small cakes in the afternoon/early evening"

"You have to try their savery salad and the authentic pizza. Just a dilicious meal. The staff was always very kind with me. All great!"

"Very stellar value for money in a more interesting location (shopping, etc) than the many hotels directly adjacent the train station. My only issue was the thermostat seemed totally unresponsive to me adjusting the temperature downwards which helps to sleep at night. The front desk staff were extremely sweet. I will absolutely stay again! "

"Let’s get real this hotel is not “wonderful” it’s a cheap downmarket motel style room. I’ve travelled around Japan for 5 weeks and this is the first time I would not wear their nightwear as it didn’t seem clean, slippers had been worn before and sanitized (ugh!). No English channels on tv and couldn’t access Netflix or others. No tea or coffee in room although did have kettle. Small room and very old and dated bathroom, didn’t enjoy it at all. Staff were friendly though and short walk from station."

"Nice resort overall but the customer service could be improved. The spa facilities and sauna could do with better cleaning. In my partners Sauna and spa had a bad smell which affected that tranquil environment where she wasn’t able to relax. We enjoy the Japanese breakfast the quality was really good with a good variety of hot and cold options. The staff was also quite rude in the ski park and was not helpful or informative. Overall good experience but the positive points was not enough to cover some of the negatives. "

"The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Helen the manager often went above and beyond to meet the needs of guests. The environment was relaxed. The location was close to ski slopes and they also provided a free shuttle which was a plus."
