"We had an outstanding time at this beautifully located accommodation, surrounded by peace and nature. The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. The breakfast was delicious and offered a perfect start to the day. All in all, a truly enjoyable and memorable stay!"
"This delightful hotel in the heart of St Cyprien exceeded all our expectations with its warm, attentive service, cozy charm, and modern comforts. From the moment we arrived, Benedicte made us feel genuinely welcome, offering personalized recommendations and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. "
"Large clean room with tea and coffee, comfortable bed. Lovely outside area with a view and very quiet. Fantastic evening meal and I’m sure breakfast will be too. We took our dog and did a great walk straight from the place and saw a hot air balloon."
"Very warm and friendly hosts! The home is beautiful and spotless with a lovely back terrace for breakfast dining, or just relaxing with views overlooking Sarlat-la-Caneda. Would absolutely stay again! "
"Plutôt déçu de ce séjour et voici pourquoi :
Points forts : la quiétude du lieu, le paysage, le côté typique des gîtes, la localisation géographique pour les visites
Points négatifs : chemin d’accès très étroit et rempli de trous, compliqué de retrouver sa chambre dans les différents gîtes présents dans le hameau car pas d’indications (il suffirait d’avoir un petit plan au niveau des parkings!), organisation médiocre (nom de la chambre pas reçu, idem pour le code de la boîte à clef). "This hotel is slightly quirky but is very nice. I slept very well here and enjoy my room and the view over the valley. I didn’t eat at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner and I wanted something light, so can’t comment on the food. The view from the restaurant looked amazing.
The only thing that would make the stay better would be to provide guests with a kettle to make tea or coffee in their rooms. I will definitely stay here again.
There’s no elevator so if you have heavy bags, be...

La Petite Maison: Fairytale Stay in Village Center
10/10 Excellent
"This is the most amazing house we have ever stayed in on all of our travels! We had read the description but it goes beyond the feeling you have when you’re actually in it! The home was meticulous plus you are able to feel the age of it while the added modern features make it very comfortable. Communications with the host were many and very helpful and Andrea and Maritine were always eager to help us! The village of Beynac doesn’t even seem real! Our trip to Beynac and living in this incredible house have made our trip to France unforgettable! We had wished we would have made our trip longer as our accommodations were just unbelievable! We’re so happy to have had this experience!!!!"
"Great location with very friendly staff, updated bathrooms and good food on the riverside.
I left my charger behind and went back 2 days later and it was wanting for me..."
STONE-BUILT PERIGOURDINE HOUSE WITH PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL.
10/10 Excellent
"We spent a wonderful week at La Bourgarde and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property was perfect – just a short walk into Castelnaud for morning pastries and close enough to enjoy an afternoon swim. The location made it easy to pack in so many activities, and our whole family loved every moment. Check-in was seamless, and the host was excellent with communication and helpful advice throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning – highly recommended!"
Large house in the heart of the Périgord Noir and LASCAUX IV, park, heated swimming pool
10/10 Excellent
"We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always available if needed. Thank you so much Evelyne 10/10"
"There are not enough words to describe this lovely part of France. We have been to France many times but this area is amazing. Mont Joie exceeded all expectations. A beautiful property set above the Dordogne where we were provided all amenities and more. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together. Martine is a joy, she helped us in so many ways! We highly recommend this area and Mont Joie. We will be back! Merci to Vince and family for sharing your lovely home with us. Au revoir for now, Mike and Peggy "
