"Very disappointing stay.When i reached i informed them that i want to upgrade to bigger room because i have 1 more guest with me,so they said it is already full.Later the manager informed that they can upgrade to room with private pool and they will add 1 more single bed (initially no available room so ot means they alraedy changed my room). i was surprised that the pool is not functionning for more than 1 month and totally dirty. "Really comfortable room with ocean view balcony, huge bathroom with nice bathtub. The hotel is beautiful with perfect facilities. The food is amazing and special note for the staff, so nice and caring. We had an amazing stay thanks to them. And now we know how to cook curry with their cooking class 😍"

"We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved."

"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. The food was incredible. I felt super safe. I didn’t want to leave. A must visit - and please do as the Sri Lankan people need visitors right now. "

"Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet. Checked in the room for stay with my sister, was only given one bath towel in the room. There is no amenity (shower gel n shampoo) TOP up on day 2. When we went to the pool and the beach, ask for pool/beach towel and was told they have run out of beach towel, ask for bathe towel instead and never arrive. Wifi was very...
