"This hotel is slightly quirky but is very nice. I slept very well here and enjoy my room and the view over the valley. I didn’t eat at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner and I wanted something light, so can’t comment on the food. The view from the restaurant looked amazing.
The only thing that would make the stay better would be to provide guests with a kettle to make tea or coffee in their rooms. I will definitely stay here again.

"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. "Excellent small hotel right in the middle of the charming town of Sarlat. Literally two dozen restaurants, many of them excellent, within a 10-minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend.
Two things to note, without detracting from the above: street parking is metered during the day, and the optional parking garage spot (5-minute walk) must be reserved in advance and costs extra; and there is no laundry service (there's a laundromat not very far)."

"What a delightful house, owned by a delightful lady. We have been renting in the Dordogne area for over 10 yrs and this property was probably the best we have ever found.Fabienne had curated the most detailed pre-visit pack we had ever come across. Her attention to detail was far beyond what we had encountered in previous holidays.We arrived during a heatwave which was difficult but tolerable (although that would have occurred wherever had stayed). Once it had calmed down it was glorious. Great pool, great views, great holiday. Thank you! "
