"This is an older Inn, albeit very well kept. Staff was super helpful and the breakfast, which was included, was quite good, not a full menu breakfast, but not a skimpy continentall one like most hotels offer. The rooms, although dated, are very comfortable and the nightly rate was fair compared with what other hotels were charging. The hotel offers parking (45 dollars per night) which was worth it to since street parking was not easy to find. Location wise, the Inn is within a 5 minute walk of the Monterey board walk."

"We picked this hotel for the location and while it’s a nice hotel with a view of the bay it was just ok for me. I’m sure many others might not be as picky but for almost $600 a night for my ocean view room and it did not hit that mark for me. It doesn’t even have AC! The room needs shows some age from a long ago renovation. Tub, no shower, std short toilet instead of a tall elongated toilet. No power chargers on the desk. Bed and pillows ok. Balcony was a nice size with 2 chairs and a small table. Tiny parking garage so if you have a truck or SUV of size you probably won’t fit. I did like it’s next to the park and walking distance to many shops and restaurants."

"Staff was nice, property is well maintained and overall we had a nice time. My only complaint was the valet parking. Every time we called for our car we had to wait up to 15 mins despite calling 20 mins ahead as they recommended. They kept saying their computers were down or something was not working properly with the texting service. We were later to multiple reservations so I was pretty annoyed with that."

"Very convenient to Cannery Row, which was a huge plus for us. The property has been renovated nicely as well. We found it very comfortable, and there is an elevator from the parking lot, a big plus for us as we are seniors. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot and walk down to the restaurants and shops in Cannery Row. The farthest we walked was the Aquarium which took about 15 minutes, so all the Cannery Row area is quite handy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

"Although this is an older hotel, management has done a great job of keeping it clean, well-maintained, and looking updated. The hotel is located in a safe area, within walking distance of just about everything you might need. I absolutely loved the location! The hotel does have an elevator, but there are still some stairs you may need to use to access certain rooms. If you have mobility concerns, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to confirm whether a room is available that does not require climbing stairs. The breakfast selection was decent. The dining area was a bit small, but they made the most of the space and did a good job. I especially enjoyed the coffee! The staff seemed friendly and genuinely happy to be there, which made the experience even better. I also appreciated that the hotel offered parking. However, so many places were within walking distance that we really didn't need to rent a car. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere."
