"A lovingly maintained historic hotel with tons of character The rooms are small compared to a chain hotel, and you hear your neighbors more than you may wish, but they are spotless and memorable. I interacted with several staff members over a four-day stay. They were all cheerful and helpful. Finally, the price is right, and the location is unbeatable (including access to a $8/day covered parking across the street."

"Best not to be on second floor under those noisy vent fans. We couldn't sleep at all. At first I thought it was a fan in the bathroom but later when I spoke to the guy at the front desk he told me what it was. We managed to get them turned off as we couldn't get moved to a room on the first floor. Appreciate they did that for us. Overall nice place."
