Apart from the floor not being the cleanest, the location was great a 5 minutes walk to the beach. There were also tea and coffe making facilities in the room, very unusual for an American motel.

Last week I had a very pleasant stay at Deer Haven Inn. It's location is at the quiet end of the peninsula, which I appreciate. Very short walk to Asilomar beach. My room had a small fridge and microwave, also a coffee maker. Very clean and very safe. Adequate parking. Nisha, who manned the front desk, is very pleasant and efficient. I love Pacific Grove, and Deer Haven is one of the more affordable options.

Very nice facility, great location for access to town and Asilomar. Maintenance a bit dicey, with tub missing a drain cover, but nothing problematic. Staff were great, bed comfy, quiet and relaxing.

Lush woodsy residencial neighborhood, walkable or bicycle, right beside Asilomar State Beach. 10 minute drive to Safeway and Luckys shopping centers for anything such as better coffee. Value gem. Nice place. Staff was very obliging. Not their fault but someone was using a chain saw for 3 days. Otherwise, it was quiet and comfortable. The beach is in easy walking distance.
