"Apparently this motel is changing ownership, and I highly suggest they work on parking lot-terrible shape! Room was fine, but property needs work-interior was good, but I was the only guest!! Price for day-of reservation was half what I paid and no adjustment could be made. Can’t recommend this place. Young man who checked me in was welcoming and efficient. "
"Barely a 3 star, glass door to outside stuck, coffee. Maker did not work, room small and beach access was nonexistent for us in our 70’s, too steep and I slid down trail. Unfortunately would not recommend."
"I used the hot tub. Breakfast was about average. I paid more for a room with a patio but wasn't worth it, a small concrete enclosure with a high wooden fence."
"Honestly it was a surprisingly nice room that had fairly good sound dampening, which was great as every room was booked around us. The one problem we had was the pool area was under construction and they started at 8am which was loud and woke us up, and the construction also took over the small dog station area making it difficult for my doggos. But overall it was a nice stay on comfortable and clean beds."
"This was a very pleasant stay for us. Our room overlooked the harbor and inlet. The location of the motel is good and has easy access. The parking lot is in need of repairs. One drawback is that there are not elevators and even the ground floor requires going down a moderately steep ramp or stairs."
"I basically got what I paid for.
Check-in was as basic and uneventful
I arrived @ 9pm as Check-in started at 4pm parking was almost full.
Regarding my room if you consider a cheap old microwave and sm refer a kitchen then I guess it had one, personally I wouldn't.
Now to the bathroom, overall I would describe it with one word OUTDATED. Low pressure (sink & shower) awe yes the shower, 1st shower head came up to my nipples while attempting a shower prior to checking out water would be hot and then without warning it ran ice cold.
I know that I wasn't staying @ The Palace but have to tell you about the bed, I can say it was a bed! Metal frame w/springs. Overall I can't complain I got what I paid for. Two final things to mention room was right over the lobby and this has to be my first hotel/motel that didn't even have a sewing needle & thread! If I were Wyndham I'd be ashamed to put my name on it.
I understand this was a old, weathered hotel by the ocean but I guarantee if a little attention to details and higher quality materials. This review would be quite different. "
