Unwind in your private space with plush king beds and a combustion stove or indulge in an onsite massage at our beauty salon. The suite features repurposed farm machinery, including a 2-metre high chandelier made from the mill's former winnower.

About this property

The Millery - The Old Chaff Mill

  • Originally where grain was processed, this 120m2 luxury suite features a spectacular repurposed winnower, originally used to sort grain from chaff (the husks of the grain), but now a 2-metre chandelier. As well as a toasty-warm combustion heater, it has two generous seating areas, and a gorgeous, reconditioned outdoor clawfoot bath, that opens up to a private garden via 200 year old solid teak doors- bathe under the stars! Two extra guests can stay in a comfortable fold-out queen sofa bed, located in the downstairs living area.

Beyond the highest of expectations!

We had high expectations of this property following viewing the description and photos on-line, but it still managed to totally exceed these expectations in reality. This property is nothing short of exceptional in every single detail. On top of that, Bernice and Richard are the most wonderful hosts who could not have done more to make our stay absolutely perfect. The whole experience is one that will stay with us and continue to make us smile. We would highly recommend a stay at this property.
