"The hotel was fine. Clean.. but the bed was very uncomfortable time for some upgrades on beds."

"We have stayed at this hotel several times on vacation. This last experience was horrible. We booked a bay front, 719 sq ft room on Expedia. However, when we arrived we were told they did not have a bay front room for the four nights we would be there. The manager gave us a bay front room the first night of our stay, but we had to move for the remaining three nights. We were moved to a much smaller room with limited bay view. We tried several times to request a bay front room even if we had to move a couple of times that week but continued to be told none were available for third party customers. The manager, Keith, was extremely rude and seemed to hate his job. We were very nice to him and everyone we spoke to about the situation there. In addition to being moved and not getting the room we paid for, the hotel was very understaffed requiring us to wait over 30 minutes to talk to front desk personnel several times and the pool area and the pool bathrooms were very dirty. The pool tables had food customers had ordered sitting out all day without being cleaned. The pool bathrooms were disgusting. Our room balcony furniture was covered in dirt that was not cleaned when we first arrived. Two afternoons we put a maid service cleaning sign out, but no one came to clean it even though I asked one of the maids to clean it that afternoon. The hotel used to be a wonderful place to stay, but it has become very dirty and is poorly run. Inside the rooms were clean."

"This property should've been $20 a night with the ghettoness, I received from a Wyndham property. Stains and marks all on the walls of the unit. The shower was disgusting. He put me in a smokers room, and I dont smoke. He was on facetime upon my arriving to the property with no care of checking in guest. Staff was unwelcoming. I asked him for an receipt and he informed me because I booked through Hotels.com, that I needed to get it through them to receive an receiptof my stay in whichI knew was untrue. Ive stayed at many Wyndham properties and they always give me an receipt. Then to asked for a $50 incidental fee for an room that is already dirty is diabolical. On a positive, the sheets were clean, I can tell that. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. "

"Great location for several short day trips seemed like we were about 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Zoo, aquarium, boardwalk and several state parks. It was about 50 minutes to the eastern shore and Cape Charles. We enjoyed walking on the beach and sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunshine. "

"This was a great find for us. The house is more spacious than it looks & was quite comfortable for our family. The owner is great to work with -makes himself available but still respects your privacy. The neighborhood is very nice & quiet. The location was fantastic. Easy access to the highway with the beach, downtown & aquarium only 20 minutes away. We absolutely loved our stay & would definitely stay again."
