Clean, Comfortable and Budget-Friendly

The location is a bit further from the beach than I expected, but thats because I didn't realize there are 2 Howard Johnsons in Virginia Beach. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but overall we were pleased. It was clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, juice and breakfast snacks. Given the moderate price, I'd give a thumbs up and would book again.

The water was hot with nice pressure. The air conditioner was excellent it got the room ice cold and I really appreciate that being a women who suffers from hot flashes I actually slept very comfortably!
