"This was my third stay at Minnewaska lodge. I always love it. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the bath products are lovely smelling, and there is plenty of room in the dining/sitting area and outside by the firepit to relax and socialize or read . The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond. The private woodland setting is a wonderful base for visiting the area.

"My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. "

Hampton Inn by Hilton New Paltz
10/10 Excellent
"Nicer than I expected. Well stocked breakfast included."
"Absolutely! Here's the revised, excited version of your review with a special shoutout to your two dogs:---Wow—what an unforgettable stay! This VRBO was *hands-down* one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! From the moment we walked in, it felt like everything had been perfectly thought out. The amenities were amazing—there were snacks in the pantry, *Häagen-Dazs ice cream* in the freezer (huge win!), and every little detail felt like it was there just for us.The bedding? Honestly, more comfortable than what we have at home. There were tons of plush towels in every size imaginable, and the deck was both versatile and totally relaxing—we spent hours out there soaking up the peaceful vibe. The decor and design were warm, inviting, and full of charm. And our *two dogs*? They were just as welcome as we were! It was so comforting to know our furry family members could join in on the fun, and the property made it super easy to include them in everything. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the early morning walk with quick access to a beautiful toe path trail. Everything about the location made it easy to relax and explore.Waking up that first morning, we immediately said, “Why didn’t we book more nights?” It was *that* good. The welcome folder was full of helpful tips for local food and adventures around New Paltz, and the host was incredibly responsive—ready to help with anything, big or small. We’re already planning our next visit, and there’s no question—we’ll"

10/10 Excellent
"A group of friends gathered at this peaceful spot for a summer weekend. We enjoyed the quiet along with proximity to lots of hiking trails and to Main Street with its many shops and restaurants. We spent evenings on the lovely back porch where there seemed to always be a breeze. "
"The house was beautiful and clean and spacious. It was stocked with all the necessities and very well thought out for the comfort of a guest. No central AC was a bit of a surprise, but the AC unit in the master bedroom was great, especially on the dehumidify setting at night (due to surrounding rain/storms). The weather was too hot to want to use the hot tub or fire pit, but the grill was great and the provided tools were a very nice touch. We had a lot of fun here. Highly recommend and will seriously consider coming back, especially if it’s a little cooler!"
Scenic New Paltz Escape: River Views, Hot Tub & Deck | Dream House in the Gunks
10/10 Excellent
"My wife, kids, grandparents and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverfront Modern House over the last weekend! The home is very spacious and easily accommodated our large group. In addition, we appreciated the stylish decor and the fact that the house was immaculate. The property is an easy drive to and from the the New Paltz Main St and Farmer's Market, so we conveniently headed into town for shopping and meals. We all took advantage of the barbeque grill on our last evening there, and it was so nice to enjoy the meal on the lovely deck overlooking the river! I'd definitely be interested in staying at this property again in the future!"
"Such a dreamy escape. The staff is excellent, friendly, and always ready to help. The rooms are serene and comfortable. Amazing spa and spa staff. Restaurant is also top-notch"
