The room was not as advertised and we had a creaky and very uncomfortable sofa bed rather than an actual double. "The hotel was cheap and cheerful, and meet expectations for the price point in most respects. Cleanliness was very good.
However, we booked this hotel on the basis it has 6 EV charging bays on site, so I could charge my car overnight. I have driven electric cars for 9 years, and am used to most methods to charge the car. We arrived at 1am in the morning, and after over an hour of trying in the cold (3 chargers, 2 phones), I was finally beaten. Very frustrating, as not only did it mean I only...
