"We LOVED this home! Stayed here for a bachelorette trip! It was extremely cozy and welcoming. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed the convenience to town and wineries; however, beware this home had an abundance of stink bugs (understandable as this home is in the woods) but there were many dead ones under the pillows of the couch and in some of the beds, but we didn’t mind flicking them away. We were also told to “enjoy the wine and treats” in the home, but we arrived and no wine nor treats were to be found. Not a big deal, but something we were expecting because we were told about it! Overall, a good stay, and would recommend to others as long as you don’t mind bugs!"

"Charming cottage nestled on a private property. The details put into the decor was amazing. Just like out of a storybook. Great for a quiet romantic getaway, or a weekend family trip. Property has lots of shade, sun and beautiful flowers! "

"What a gem! Everything in Charlottesville was so expensive so we widened our search and I am so glad that we did! The Crossroads Inn was amazing. Our room was so cute! We signed up for the dinner with wine pairings from the local vineyard, which was delicious. The breakfasts were so good - super fresh. And they thought of everything - feed to give to the chickens, water and snacks, and chocolates too. The staff was so friendly. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You won't regret it."

On a National historical site registry property, the nostalgic centuries old wood fragrance, combined with modern amenities, and an extremely comfortable king bed. The perfectly romantic hideaway to celebrate our anniversary. Not quite as secluded as we expected, but certainly private enough and very respectful owners that live in the main house. "
