The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice, particularly the shower. The decor of the suite overall was a bit disappointing; pretty sparse, not very inviting.
Our stay was wonderful! Accommodations were beautiful and the breakfast spread was delicious. We usually are not motivated to return to a bed and breakfast, but this one would be worth repeating.
Calm and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Delicious breakfast on the outside patio. Just next door to a nice winery for tastings. Easy drive into Charlottesville.
We loved staying at this historic inn! Accommodations were clean and comfy! Staff were excellent with checkin/checkout. Each morning the chef served a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay again when in the Charlottesville area!
We had a lovely stay. We were in town for a wedding at Pippin Hill, which is right next door and very convenient. The staff at The Crossroads Inn were all very friendly and helpful and made our stay carefree.
This is the perfect stay for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We stayed for 3 nights. All staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, the in and grounds were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Wonderful hiking, vineyards, and restaurants were a short drive away.
Beautiful suite (Roosevelt). Very comfortable bed and wonderful bedlinen. Great facilities such as fridge with waters, wine glasses, ice bucket. In dining room access to coffee, different teas.
Matt, the manager was very friendly and informative. We arrived much earlier than scheduled check in but Matt was very accommodating and let us into our room & informed the staff at the neighbouring vineyard we were en route for our late lunch. All in all a wonderful stay and we would gladly stay again.
The Crossroads Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodations were great and the staff was wonderful. The bonus was Chef Joe. He cooked like a dream and was so personable. We will definitely be back.
This was an excellent bed and breakfast experience. From the moment the manager, Matt greeted us in the parking lot upon our arrival until we checked out, everything was amazing! Everything was clean, and the food plentiful and delicious! This 1820s house was quiet at night, although there were at least three couples in different rooms. There are no TVs, which adds to the historical charm and peace.
A beautiful, historic, quaint inn located in next to Pippin Hill vineyards. The staff (Matt, Gracie, and Joe) made us feel at home. The food, prepared by Joe, was amazing.
Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
We loved it !! Enjoyed the character of an older historical Inn feeling what it may have been like in the 1800’s when travelers stopped to stay and eat and refresh themselves. We delighted in having a hearty breakfast served daily to us in the basement with brick floors that went out to a lovely patio. This prepared us for wonderful days of viewing the fall foliage and visiting some of the many wineries nearby.
We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious both mornings. The location was great as well. Almost everywhere we wanted to go regardless of the direction was 15-20 minutes away. There was an amazing pizza place right around the corner that we would definitely suggest going to. We highly recommend this inn and will surely be returning!
I loved this property! I received a virtual check in that was thorough and went over all things I needed to know. A brand new nespresso maker with plenty of pod options. A modern shower head! They left chicken feed so I could feed the chickens! The winery was less than a 3 min drive. The property was beautiful! In the morning the chef prepared a delicious 4 course meal in the cozy kitchen located down stairs. They have a beautiful patio right off the kitchen dining room. Overall would love to stay again!
This was our second time here. It will definitely become an annual stay. Our favorite place to stay in Charlottesville and our favorite Virginia winery Pippin Hill.
