"The hotel is located very close to Nairn beach which is just a a few hundred metres away and can be accessed by walk. The surrounding area is residential and beautifully maintained. Our room was clean (Room 12). It was on the ground floor in the garden. Access was easy to the room from the garden where I parked my car. The only issue was the very small wash basin (this was a room designed for physically challenged people). The wash basin was indeed a real problem as it was very low (great if you were using a wheelchair) and incredibly small. Simon informed us that he has plans to update this soon. The bed was brilliant and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was very good and was served with love and kindness. Simon and Jenny were simply excellent as hosts. They had time to chat to us and gave us a lot of tips to go around the highlands. It was a pity that we had to leave. When we return to the highlands this will be the place we shall be staying. Thank you Simon and Jenny."

"Property was completely unlocked and empty of people. Had to use posted number on unlocked door to contact an employee who showed up 15 minutes later. Was taken to a dirty unmade bedroom with old and mismatched furniture. Bathroom was 30 yards away with no toiletries and no mirror Water was luc warm. Carpet throughout the building was rhreadbare. After 20 minutes I decided to vacate the hotel due to watching a rat run down the hallway."

"Clean room, comfy bed. Car park is small but plenty on street parking nearby. Great price. Premises are looking a bit tired and dated but that is fairly reflected in the price. Single room was small but functional. Very close to town centre with a good selection of cafes and takeaways within easy walking distance."

"I cannot find anything bad to say about this hotel. The hotel is exclusively run by a family and I give 5 stars for how well it is done by this family. Service, information, willingness to help everyone was just fantastic. It was a great jumping off place to drive to all the locations we visited around the area. I especially liked the cleanliness of this establishment. No other place could compare."
