"It’s was fantastic and I hope this family all the best. We stayed when they had just opened but they did not charge us correctly (over charged) and there was no water NO water in our second room. All in all though they were very friendly and after all it is Mexico - so go with the flow. "

"The hotel was very nice, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The area is quiet, but still close enough to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was we were put in a room that was right at the front entrance to the hotel and across the hall from the reception. No room should be in this particular location. As a result, it lacked privacy.

"Eco Hotel Las Mariposas was the best stay in Oaxaca! Walking distance so to many places to explore the city. The staff is superb and I appreciated the security of entering the building. It’s a beautiful hotel and I will be returning."

"The hotel gave us a sense of peace, comfort and security. The rooms are extremely comfortable and everything worked well. The staff was attentive and always ready to help. The Llano park is right across the street. Every morning, we went for a long run/walk around the park. We really enjoyed our stay in Oaxaca! "

The hosts truly went above and beyond, even offering to drive us to the city whenever we needed it, which was incredibly helpful and generous.Their home is a tranquil oasis, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful trees, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Oaxaca’s downtown. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the chance to relax in such a beautiful, verdant setting. We also enjoyed the heated pool very much. We highly recommend staying with Deb and Victor for a truly memorable and delightful experience. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and creating such a comfortable and serene haven. "

"The property is gorgeous. Bungalow overlooking sculptured gardens, 2 private patios, views of mountains in the distance. Best of all was the friendliness of Deb and Victor. They chauffeured us all over town every day, did airport pickups, and were super attentive to our every need. We're leaving here with new friends, for sure!"
