“good hotel for exploring the region”
Good modern hotel with excellent service. Could relax in the hotel although it is away from the usual beach resorts in the region, they are all accessable by car including Barcelona centre along the Motorway Autopista A7. Good accurate descriptions on Web site but dont miss the correct A7 exit to the hotel from Barcelona
“Pleasantly surprised”
This hotel was more than I expected. The conditions were excellent and the value for money very good. It is a bit isolated, but not if you have a car. The prices were lower than I would have expected, but during race week-ends, I guess this would increase.
“Best hotel for Barcelona race circuit”
The hotel is located overlooking the race circuit , so if your destination is Circuit de Catalunya - then this is the perfect location. If you want to sample the Barcelona night life and everything that the city has to offer - then this is not the place for you - chose something in the city so you can walk everywhere The hotel is basic but the restaurant is fine and breakfast is adequate The security at the hotel is good with gates on the front drive Rooms are pretty basic but the price reflects that .
“Veryimpressed”
Great views and great breakfast. Dinner very good but bar service slow. Pool area outside very nice.Gym non existent so would have been unhappy if had had time to use these. Need taxis or transport to get there. No local pubs etc nearby . But overall really pleasant.
“Been there done that”
The hotel is miles from nowhere and the room service was quite poor but over all we enjoyed our stay as the hotel accomodation was cheap and quiet and most days we had the pool to ourselves. Although when we wanted to go out the taxis were quite expensive so we got over this by only going to the train station where we found tickets to barcelona very cheap.
“A good holiday hotel”
A quiet hotel situated at the outshirt of town. The hotel staff are very friendly, in line with the typical barcelona attitude towards tourists, warm and welcoming. However, I was shocked at the quality of the seats at the reception, a big turn off if used as a selection criteria. The greatest downside to this hotel is the daily 10-12 euro taxi cost of going downtown, calculating a to and fro, comes to a 20 - 25 euro daily transportation cost. Do factor that in for cost computations. The hotel is situated somewhat on a hill, which gives a lovely view of the town, which by the way is small and about 35-40mins by train to barcelona sants. A good get away hotel if your key objective is to get some peace and quiet from city noise.
“one major caveat”
Staff - A+ Facility - A- Price - A+ Location - D- If you plan on doing a track day at the Ciruit de Catalunya or plan on checking out and races there, then this is your spot. If you plan for a rich night life in the heart of Barcelona, you can scratch this place off your list. Trains stop running at 11:30, which is way too early for this city. A cab from Gracia is 50 euros.
“WATCH FOR BREAKFAST SCAM”
The hotel was awesome, until we got our bill at the end. The whole three days, they adverised "complimentary breakfast", then at the end of our stay we had a HUGE BILL, thanks to the 12 euro breakfast that really wasnt complimentary. We try to argue it, so them paperwork that proved it and all of the sudden " I dont understand what you are saying, I dont speak English". So, other than that blindside at the end, it was great!!
