“not impressed”

Parking non existant, no "good" resturants nearby, squeel of streecar wheels till 2 in the morning, rooms very, very small.

“DISGUSTING!!!!”

I was so disgusted with the Howard Johnson Hotel. I have never stayed in such a dirty and small room. There was no room to even stand and change let alone sleep. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the sink was cracked. The bathroom was so small that the door wouldn't even open the whole way without hitting the sink. The airconditioning unit didn't work and there was mold growing around it. What is the point of having a dresser and desk when the end of the bed touches it and you can't even stand between them? This was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in and would never recommend it to anyone. It was so bad I was crying and I couldn't wait to go home. Do Not Stay Here. It is a very BAD, SMALL, DIRTY and DISGUSTING Hotel.

“Not impressed”

“Home away from home”

I have visited many countries and hotels in the world but Howard Johnson Toronto West Lakeshore drive remains the most cost efficient, friendliest and best place I have ever stayed. The staff were very professional and courteous about everything. Thye were very knowledgeable about the area as well. It felt like home, thank you Howard Johnson Lakeshore. Mgmt. was top of the line and shared a constant concern for others. Staff was very skilled in meeting any need that should arise. Altogether very close knit group of people who shared one main concern, serving others.

Area recommendations

Humber Park - beautiful walking and landscaping. An opportrunity to escape the city for the beauty of nature.

“Poor”

Although in a good location to explore Toronto, this hotel was a complete waste of money. It was dirty and lacked amenities like a working elevator. The car park was downright scary and smelled like a toilet.

“worst hotel ive ever been to”

i would only recomend this hotel to someone i didnt like.the surrounding nieghborhood is ghetto.the hotel smelled of smoke and the rugs were dirty.i actually checked out early to go somewhere else =)

“Great overall experience”

The overall cleanliness of the hotel was great. Public transportation extremely near as well as restaurants and shops. My stay at this place was great and peaceful.

Just explore the whole downtown area. Toronto is a great place to visit.

“Not impressed”

The hotel is too expensive for the low quality. Even the self-serve breakfast was lousy with terribly diluted OJ. Parking is several blocks away and is expensive. The room was so small that I could barely walk from bed to bathroom or get dressed! The street was under construction and it was VERY noisy night and day.

“Worst Hotel I Have Ever Seen”

We had to pay $12 for underground parking that was 2 blocks away, our whole floor smelled like marijuana , there was a drop of blood on our comforter, our bathroom garbage was full, there was open soap in the bathtub, and the wrappers were on the bathroom counter, in short absolutley disgusting
