Our first trip to Japan, hotel is located near everything we needed - shopping, food & bars, train, etc. Staff were super friendly, our room was serviced daily (vs other countries you now have to request room service). There was only a smoking room available when we booked, we were a little hesitant as we didnʻt want the funk smell of smoke on our sheets/carpet but we were pleasantly surprised there was none. Very happy with the choice we made. Thank you Shibuya Creston Hotel for the hospitality, definitely recommend. We will definitely be returning.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It's in a great location but not as expensive as many other hotels in the area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and communicating in English was easy. The standard of cleanliness was very high and the rooms pleasantly decorated. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel in a good spot. Only negative I would say is the aging the key at the counter each time you leave is strange and they just give you the key once you say your room number so I hope behind the scenes they do some sort of check that it was actually you.

Great, classic hotel
This seemed like an older, fancier business hotel, but regardless we loved it for our leisure stay back in November. It was really nice and in an interesting area of Shibuya about 10 min walk from the bustle. Front desk staff members were amazing and very helpful with any questions we had. The rooms had lots of amenities which is always a plus for people traveling light!

The Creston is a good moderate hotel. Placed in a great neighborhood with restaurants and shopping right outside. It is definitely very 1980s but that didn't bother me at all. They still use a metal key that is left at the desk when you leave. Being Japan is the safest place in the world, not an issue. We stayed in the suite, which was by far the largest hotel room I've ever had. There was a seating area with an TV and a large desk in the room. Beds may have been queens and comfy cots for the kids. The windows actually opened and a build in radio that played relaxing Japanese music. If you don't mind the 80s decor, or actually like it, this place is great. Bellwood bar is just outside and worth a drink or two.

I was a little nervous about this hotel but was surprising pleased. The hallways did smell like smoke but our non-smoking room did not. The rooms were very small in comparison to our normal American hotels we are accustomed to but it was cozy and nice. Easy to walk anywhere we needed to go! Super convenient! Always felt very safe walking anywhere in Shibuya district.

A pleasant quiet haven
We stayed five nights at the Creston and found it to be very comfortable. The hotel is located about 13 minutes walk north of the railway station. The room was more spacious than normal and was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were very helpful. The wi-fi was quite slow in the morning, but was of good speed in the evening. This hotel was a quiet haven and such a contrast to busy Shibuya.

The listing did not mention it’s a smoking room. To my surprise, they told me I had booked a smoking room. I’m a non smoker and have allergies. The room stinks!!!!!! and carpet is old and worn out.

We stayed at the Creston for 2 nights. The staff here are great. We arrived early and dropped off our bags because the room wasn’t ready. When we got back, the staff had put our bags in our rooms. The location is very convenient. In terms of cons, the rooms are very small and the hotel is a bit tired. The wifi did not work for the duration of our stay.

The ladies in the front desk are the kindest and most helpful. The hotel is close and walkable to every places you want to visit. The bedroom is too small but clean.

A Flawless Experience In Shibuya!
I chose this hotel initially due to proximity to the Line Cube Shibuya venue. As it turns out, it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at anywhere at any price. Immaculately clean, very well equipped. Generously sized room. Easily the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Friendly helpful staff. Located right next door to an amazing convenience store. If you're a foreign traveler in Japan and need to be in this area, I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation next time I'm in the area.

Quiet and Close
This is the first hotel I stayed at on your first trip to Japan. I was worried it would be hard to locate but it was actually easy to find and close to a train station. The area is really quiet but you’re walking distance to the lively shibuya area. The hotel is a bit older but overall clean. I really enjoyed dining at their small restaurant and the breakfast was enjoyable. The staff are very polite also.

Great location in Shibuya, ten minutes from Shibuya crossing. Don't recommend including breakfast though since it's very dull and they won't make any changes- we wanted an extra bun and they refused to give us one. Stayed hungry after. Staff did help with phonecalls to places we planned to go though, and reception staff was very nice and helpful

This hotel is around 15min walk from Shibuya station which is great if you’re after a more quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Room is very clean, a little dated however out of several hotels we were staying in Japan, Creston has the most comfortable bed which is well needed after a big day of travelling around Tokyo!

This property is located just 10 minutes from shibuya station. Easy to get to shops, restaurants, cafes, and train directly to Narita airport. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, couldn't thank them enough for their help. My only issue is that the rooms were very dusty, needed a good vacuuming around the edges, behind the door, etc. Linens and bathroom were clean though. Expect some street noise if you are staying over the weekend like we did.

Great location easy walk to Shibuya station. Nice quiet location close to restaurants. Service impeccable and accommodating. Room is small and a little dated but clean and functional. Unpleasantly surprised by no non-smoking rooms
I booked two rooms, both non-smoking. I did not realize this would not be honored if non-smoking rooms were not available upon check-in; I would have booked somewhere else to guarantee their availability as my father has asthma. When we arrived, the staff's English was sub-par, and they could not figure out what the problem was. We asked for a recommendation of another hotel close by, but they didn't understand. They promised us the rooms were deodorized, but this doesn't matter if bad breathing is triggered by smoke. I tried looking for another hotel, but couldn't find anything else available at such short notice on a Friday afternoon. Again, the staff did not understand and was not helpful. We felt frustrated and disappointed. In the end we stayed two nights, weren't very comfortable, and next time I'll book through a different site so that this misunderstanding doesn't happen again. Overall, the location was okay, but hard to find. Cab drivers didn't know the area at all. There aren't many places to eat open before 9am, and it's about 15 minutes by foot to Shibuya station. The rooms were fairly quiet, but we needed to open our windows to try and clear the smokey air, which meant more street noise than we would have preferred. (Our rooms were on the second floor.) We did not try the breakfast. They do provide plenty of extra toiletries and beauty products, so that was one plus.
