“Perfect”

All we wanted was a clean room and bathroom and not be bothered by staff all weekend.. This is exactly what we got. I will go back again.

“Hidden surprise”

Older style private hotel which has been upgraded with modern ensuite, tea/coffee making and even the provision of cutlery and plates. It was very convenient for our needs with plenty of eating places in close walking distance. It was also quiet, but parking is a drawback if staying longer than overnight as on street parking is very limited.

“Clean, convienent & priced right”

The hotel rooms whilst not large had everything you need, were clean and well presented, beds were very comfortable. Short walk to Prince of Wales and centrally located in the Randwick CBD, many cafes and hotels with reasonably priced meals. Buses to Bondi, City and Coogee on the doorstep of the hotel. The only downside as I saw it was that first floor rooms could only be reached by walking up twenty stairs, so if you have some physical impedments like I do this could cause some problems, so either mention this in your booking or the friendly staff will if able swap your booking to a ground floor room. I would recommend this hotel .

“Close to Uni”

The reception clerk was welcoming and obliging. I had indicated that I would be arriving ahead of the scheduled check-in time and wanted to be able to store my bags, but they had the room already available. Good cafe attached to the hotel. Walking distance to UNSW and Coogee Beach. Wifi available but quite expensive.

“Satisfied”

What you asking me that should be put to every guest by the hotel management. I feel very strongly about it. This is one of the important areas missed out by lot of hotels and this lodge is no exception. You are in a very strong position to develop this ' culture ' to every hotel

“Cheap & Not Dodgy”

Well what do you expect for the price!... The room was tiny, not ideal if you like swinging cats! But it was clean enough and the surrounding neighbourhood was not scary. Close to a good pub, good cafes, supermarket and shopping centre. Bus to the city and railway right outside the door. Communal bbq area and kitchen was good and the staff had excellent customer service.

“Small and Missing Essentials”

This is the 1st time I have ever stayed in a hotel that does not supply simple things like a facewasher or hand towel. The photos do not give an indication of how small the rooms are, as we could not even find a place to stash our luggage. There was always something in the hallways like dirty linen, bags of rubbish or vacuums in which to trip over. It was a good central place to stay for our needs but we chose to spend as little time there as possible because we had to go outside to change our minds.

“Great location, terrible room!”

Hotel was in a great location with easy access to public transport to the city and good cafes. However, our room (212) was right at the front of the hotel overlooking the road and it was incredibly noisy! I think I averaged three hours sleep a night between buses, cars and shouting in the street outside. I actually had to cut my stay short by a night just so I could get a decent night's sleep (which they still charged me for). Room was also very small but bathroom was a good size. Room and bathroom were both clean although the large huntsman spider on the door when we arrived wasn't very welcome! All in all, a reasonable place to stay for a reasonable price, just DON'T stay in a front room!!!

“Hospital visit convenience”

Lower ground room worked fine for our purpose. Only a brief stay would I suggest. Clen linen, clean room, we were there to sleep in between appointments.
