“Well located and clean”
Great located hotel in walking distance to most local attractions including darling harbour (Sydney opera house, bridge etc), clubs and pubs. Hotel was clean from the moment you walked in to the room we stayed at. Only thing is that the room was smaller than expected (photo's online are deceiving) for the price paid. Room service was prompt and housekeeping was punctual. We found some of the reception staff to be a little too corporate, although most were friendly and helpful.
“Excellent location”
We booked the Mantra on Bond Street, Sydney because it had apartments that could accommodate three family members. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and always responded quickly and helpfully to requests. We had the sofa bed in the lounge dining space made up for our third person and found it to be a little squeezy to get around the bed however this did not detract from our favourable impression of the quality of this hotel. We enjoyed the gym and roof-top pool and spa which had glimpses of the Harbour Bridge. Great location close to The Rocks, Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Opera House. A few minutes walk up George Street to the main shopping areas.
“Pretty Good”
Everything was great except the WiFi. Oh the WiFi. $25 a day for internet access? Ridiculous. Fortunately, I was able to hold my iPad up to the window and hop on to an open hotspot. But paying $250 (my trip was ten days) for internet? No thanks. The food in the lobby restaurant was good, but overpriced. Room was very clean, very comfortable, and beautifully located, minutes from Wynyard/Circular Quay/The Rocks/etc.. Staff was helpful.
“Enjoyed the stay and it was in a great location”
Great location and friendly helpful staff at the hotel. would go back again
“Definitely staying there when next in Sydney. Most impressed.”
We arrived in Sydney by cruise ship in the morning and were able to get an early check-in. The main foyer of the hotel was very appealing and when we got to our floor, we were totally amazed by the high quality of everything we could see. Our studio apartment was truly incredible and of an extremely high standard. Very very impressed with everything. Pity we only had one day to enjoy it all but we did manage to use the "on roof" spa with awesome city views. Definitely recommend a stay at Mantra for all our friends and will be looking forward to staying there again next time we are in Sydney.
“Great location and enjoyable stay”
After reading some bad reviews about this Hotel I was a bit reluctant to stay there, so my daughter and I were pleasantly suprised to have a most enjoyable stay. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived in Sydney at 6.00 am, and we were lucky enough to get an early check-in of 10.30 am. Apartments are large with 2 lounges, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent with the Wynyard Train Station, supermarket, food and retail shops just across the road. The Rocks / Circular Quay are just down the road, within walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel.
“Rooftop pool in downtown Sydney”
The hotel is in the heart of downtown Sydney. Monorail and public transportation are close. 2 bdrm apartment with laundry for a reasonable price. The kids were ecstatic about the rooftop pool.
“Completely Impressed”
Everything was so easy. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The spa on the roof was amazing, a good way to end your last night in Sydney. Even in the cheapest room it was very spacious and comfortable.
“good to stay & explore Sydney”
clean & convenient in an accesable position near to circular keys, for the ferries, walking distance to city bridge & harbours. Laundry facilities were handy. small swimming pool on roof, but warm water.
“perfect location, very nice and clean room”
everything was as i expected. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
