“A great place to stay”

I was impressed with this place right from check in. Friendly helpful staff and the restaurant staff were exceptional. Close to railway station (but catch a taxi) and a short walk to centre of town with all the facilities you could ask for. I will certainly be staying here again.

arrived to friendly face at reception. easy checking in, informed about breakfast and hotel services. guided to lift and told where room was.

“Accommodating for families, not so for romance!”

This hotel was perfectly central to all our needs, with food courts near by and cinema complex and also close to the night life!! Great for staggering back after a night out! The only few faults I can find with this place was the stiffness of the sheets and the noise from other customers children in the morning. Although this is something that can't be controlled, with a sore head and wanting a sleep in, this is a pain!

Novotel,Ipswich is in an excellent location for shops and football ground.Room was spacious and clean.However,the T.V. channels were poor and you couldn't even get teletext which is unthinkable in 2007!!

“Good for business”

Good overall hotel if staying in Ipswich. Its central to most places. They dont have a gym on site however you do receive complimentary use of the gym over the road (2 minute walk). Food was lovely, would recomend the Thai Green Curry. You do have to pay for parking even though it is on site which is a slight dissapointment. The Interactive T.V in the room is good however be warned that if you wish to use the Internet via the T.V it is very slow to use due to the keyboard they provide. Overall, great hotel.

“Good cheap hotel”

Good cheap hotel but maintenance was happening when we arrived and there was a strong smell of paint. Handy for the town centre.
