“Great stay, great price”

I stayed in the St Louis Travel Lodge for two nights last week and the staff made a good part of my stress free trip. Check-in was very quick, my room was cool and very clean. Breakfast was typical 'continental' (cereal, milk, juice, muffines, fruit, etc) except for the coffee, which was surprisingly very good, some brand was labeled on the container but the name escapes me. Later in the day I found my room key not working but the friendly woman at the front desk programmed a new key for me in a matter of seconds. Steak N Shake nearby so you won't go hungry during your stay either.

For the price we paid, we were extremely satisfied with this hotel! We got a microwave and fridge, free wifi, and the room was really clean and comfortable. The location was great; there were places to eat all around it, and it only took 15 minutes to be in downtown St. Louis. We were very satisfied.

We only had two negatives about his hotel. 1. There is no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. However, the desk clerk helped us with our bags and firmly refused a tip. That made up for it. 2. There is no ice machine on the 2nd floor. However, we learned to, on our way in, get plastic bags at the front desk, fill them, and take them up to the room with us. Other than that, we were very satisfied and will definitely use this hotel again the next time we are in St. Louis. High marks!!!

“If I go to St. Louis again, I'm staying at this hotel!”

I requested a King, but was given two doubles - which is fine, considering. Having said that, I will say that I was VERY pleased with the helpful and friendly nature of the staff. The accommodations were clean, and there was an ironing board and iron, coffee maker with coffee, a hairdryer, two bars of soap and a tiny bottle of shampoo. There's a lock box and a refrigerator. I came into the room, got out my laptop, and was pleased to see that I was already connected to the network wirelessly, and it was a pretty fast connection. I couldn't believe I got such great accommodations for my wife and I for such a low price. We didn't wake up in time for breakfast, but continental was included. It's very close to the airport, but didn't hear any planes passing overhead. It's on a one-way street, so that might throw you for a loop if you're coming from the wrong direction. It's an easy six-minute drive to St. Louis.

“No problems”

Easy to find (just two exits from the Trifty car rental lot), good parking, quiet (across the street from a graveyard!), good air conditioning, clean room, free cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and muffins for breakfast, and no problems with the staff. We stayed there again on our way back out of town also.

Easy check in, room larger than expected which is great!!! Mother said bed was too hard, I said it was perfect, it felt great on my back and posture.

This motel was very quiet & clean & the staff was very friendly & helpful. The only drawback was that it is located on a one-way street
