“Location location location”

We are a couple and we spent a night here in Sept of 2010. The hotel wasn't close to the Ave train station but is was a cheap cab ride. Don't bother trying to find this place on your own because the streets are a labyrinth. This place is much better than what we expected for the price. It is very close to the church, infromation, and tons of restaurants. We couldn't find any food we liked but you have a lot of options. The front desk people were nice and spoke English. The room was bigger and quiter than expected however you can still hear the church bells ring. I would take that as a plus. There was no wireless connection when we stayed but access in the lobby and also a restaurant. We fell in love with this hotel and the neighborhood. We felt safe and everyone was so nice to us. We will stay here again.

“Great Location, Good Value!”

This hotel is very very close to the Cathedral and Alcazar which are the main attractions in Seville and is walkable to everything. No need for a car. Plenty of places to eat being it is central. It was difficult to find the hotel at first but here's a way to get there quickly. If you look for Dona Maria Hotel right at the Cathedral square and walk on that street, the hotel is at the end of that street. You can enter through the restaurant at the side which will lead you to the lobby. The double room they gave us was big, even for American standards. Our room has high ceilings, a separate foyer and an exclusive courtyard. The beds were kinda hard but we had no problems sleeping on them. A party was booked at the hotel on a Saturday night which was loud but when we close the door separating our bedroom to the foyer, we did not hear the noise. No English channels and only one Internet PC at the lobby but these are not important to us. Overall, this hotel is very reasonable for the price and location. I also recommend taking the train to Granada to see the Alhambra as a side trip.

“Pick another location”

The hotel is ok and filled our needs, but I could never convince the staff the air conditioner did not work properly. We had two rooms and the other room was noticeably different. Did not seem to concern the staff and apparently it’s just bad luck on my part.

“Best Value in Sevilla”

This hotel was awesome! It's SUPER close to the Cathedral, we heard the bells ringing from our room. It's a little difficult to find at first so make sure to get a map of the area before arriving. We stayed on two different occasions, the first night we had a terrace with a table and chairs to sit outside and relax (2nd floor) and the second time we had what seemed like a suite with a huge bed (especially for Eurpoe) and plenty of space to lounge. The hotel staff was helpful and nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I knew traveling to Sevilla. The price was unbeatable for the location!

“Great location, unique common area”

We made the mistake of driving to the hotel through the impossibly narrow streets of Seville (thank goodness for GPS or we never would have found the hotel) and were relieved to find the hotel could valet the car for us. The location in the center of everything could not be beat, and the incorporation of the hotel's previous life as a 16th century chapel into its current architecture was great. Lack of internet access is a big downside. Pros: great location, nice enough staff, rooms were a good size, nice internal courtyard. Cons: rooms themselves were shabbier than the star rating should allow. Some rooms were not well ventilated.

“Great Hotel - Perfect Location”

If you want a very comfortable (non-budget) hotel in an ideally central position, wit the added advatage of a roof top pool, you can't miss with this one. The breakfast is highly recommended.

“Could have done better”

Disappointing not to have easy access to internet service at the hotel. It is very difficult to find the hotel. On a positive note, it is very close to the cathedral and that is good if you want to listen to bells chime first thing in the morning
