“Excellent Stay!”

Excellent and helpful staff whose recommendations were bang on. 10 min walk to the shopping area, 15 min down to the Boardwalk and Convention Centre. Very convenient. Loved free apples on the floor, 2 free bottles of water every day, happy hour drinks in the lounge, inspirational glass elevators, 24 hour fitness centre and lap pool, Starbucks in the building and very good gift shop. Would have liked free Wi-Fi... but otherwise EXCELLENT. Good value for the Bay View Suites.

“Superb hotel”

It is a great hotel!!!!!!!! Great location, polite and helpful staff, great view, nice food and amazing building!! We totally enjoyed our stay in the hotel! We tried to spent as much time as possible in our room enjoying the view while having a coffee from the machine provided! The only strange thing about it is that they charge the wifi in the room! I think that it should be included!

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Our corner room was a little small, but very clean and had a very comfortable king-size bed.

Great hotel and location. We stayed at the Westin for 4 days...and had a great experience. Staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms were very nice, clean....bathroom was perfect. No problems. Hotel is close to everything. The only negative is the valet parking fee...is very expensive...$32 a night. There is a public parking lot next to the hotel that charges $15 overnight, and we parked two nights on the street for free...just did a little driving around until we found a spot. Area seemed very safe..so no problems in that respect. We had a five year old with us...and the Westin is perfect for families.

“Nice Stay for a Small Family”

My wife and I, along with our infant daughter spent three nights here in July. The location was great, especially because we didn't want to pay the premium for being close to the beach (not much fun for a 10 month old). Close to great restaurants in Little Italy and decent shopping at Horton Plaza, although it is a bit run down now. We spent a day on the beach on Coronado and an afternoon at Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, so for us, the Westin was a nice central location close to freeways, etc. The room itself was great. Nice modern furnishing and very clean. King sized bed and refrigerator made it easy to bring food back to the room and save a little $$. We used the pool and jacuzzi one night and liked it very much. Parking is a bit pricey, so we parked in a public lot across the street for $15 per night. The last night we found some on street parking that didn't cost a thing. Overall, the Westin San Diego treated us well!
