“Great Value”

For the price, it was great. Clean, lots of pillows, a fridge and microwave, and even though it is right next to the highway, the room was quiet. Just couldn't find a tv remote control.

Loved our stay. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was nice. The room was clean. Great customer service since we checked in and going back in two week.

This hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place by the beach. It was a little over a mile from the beach and it's real easy to get there - free parking too! So it's in a great location...close to the beach, near lots of places to eat on the beach, it's not too far from Sea World/Wild Animal Park/Mission Beach. The room was really quiet (we were on the side opposite I-5). The hotel staff were AMAZING. Very helpful and friendly. We added on an extra night once we got there, and it was no problem at all. We were wondering about a restuarant and the man looked it up on the comp and called to see how late they were open for us and gave us a map showing us how to get there. The next night we wondered how to get to Mission Beach and where a good place for dessert was, and the lady looked it all up for us, and printed it off and walked it up to our room. I've never run into a friendlier or more helpful staff. The breakfast in the morning is very nice - waffles, bagels, toast, juice, coffee, fruit, etc. Many selections and it wasn't too crowded when we were there (and we were there at 8am and 9am throughout our stay). I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The price was definitely right.

“Should Be Rated Higher than 2 Stars!”

This hotel proved to be a great value. We stayed 2 nights to explore San Diego & Tijuana, MX. The on-freeway location is super convenient. The desk clerks searched and found adjoining rooms for us, which made us quite happy as they are harder and harder to get these days. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the wireless net easy to access and the staff service excellent. Even the towels were soft! Only drawback was that when we returned to the rooms at 6:00 a.m. (checkout morning) after partying all night, the room keys had already been deactivated. Bummer.

I and my family really enjoyed our seven days in Encinitas and the hotel fit perfect into our daily plans. The hotel staff and our room were better than expected for the low rate that we paid. The free breakfast and pool was better than other hotels of same price. I would gladly stay here again.
