We had ended up staying here for a very brief overnight as our hostel in center had bed bugs found the same night we were supposed to fly out of Ciampino. We arrived late and the staff were accommodating, the man set us in a nice clean quiet room and called a transfer to the airport for us in early morning. We were pleased to have somewhere to rest and the location to train is VERY workable if wanting to explore the city.

I had a shocking experience at this hostel! The hostel has no locks and the general cleanliness was poor. On arrival at a late hour I was given my room and a choice of bed however after getting ready for bed I could hear mice/animals scurrying around and there was definitely one in the top bunk bed next to me as I could hear the scurrying on the bedsheets it was appalling! I would never recommend this hostel to anyone, my experience was horrible and I could never want anyone to stay here.

Decent for one night
Quick overnight after flying into CIA on a late flight. No frills hostel but it did the job and we got a good night's sleep. Convenient to the train station for the next morning. If you are taking a taxi from the airport beware of the taxi drivers who will try to rip you off! 25 Euros for a ten minute drive...I don't think so...

Not actually in Rome
This hostel is located in Champino outside of Rome by 24 Klm. but it is just a short walk off 500 feet to the train station. It does have a great staff, they really try and help you out. It is also very safe and clean. Dorm was very nice, and beds are comfortable. Bring your own towel or rent one for 2 Euro. Lots of little shops and food places around, so eating is not a problem.

The price is the best thing about this hostel. I stayed two nights and I took a shower in the second morning, and it was almost just water. And the bathroom window was broken so it was freezing. I took a shower at night then, and it was hot shower. The elevator was broken when I arrived so I had to crimb up to the third floor. The roommate started caugh really bad at 4am and I woke up several times. The facility was okay but it's just it.

The hostel was very convenient to airport, ideally situated for restaurants & shopping. The room however was claustrophobic as it had no window, the bathroom did. It was very noisy as outside our room all had to pass to get to all other rooms. The walls appeared to be paper thin, no soundproofing. The bed was comfortable, room & bathroom were clean, personnel courteous.

Be aware
I have booked my hostel with a card and I have chosen to pay at hostel at check in. My flight got cancelled for weather conditions and I had contacted hostel to let them know. I still got charged the night I couldn't make it and I got charged in cash and my card. The hostel says they did a preauthization but the money is not back in my account and they didn't give me a refund.

Nice hotel on budget
I had a late flight so it was a nice place to crash for the night. The heater in the room had a very bright light that didn't shut off. Good place on a budget.

Terrible. Cold and humid 'Double bed' is two single of different height pushed together. 'Duvet with no cover'. Water running down wall from hole in ceiling. No furniture except for the bed.... Unclean.. ETC PS: The staff very helpful but helpless about the condition of this dive.

It was alright.
I came to Rome for four days and wasn't expecting much for a hostel. Having said that, the condition of this hostel was below my lowest expectations. The shower heads are broken, the rooms were beyond freezing, the beds are not at all comfortable, there is only one electrical outlet by the door, and the location was worse then I Initially thought. You have to take a train into Rome (15 minute ride) then take cab/bus throughout the city. The staff, however, was friendly. I did not like how they went to the side door and stick their heads out to smoke. The entire hostel smelt like an ashtray after this. This area of ciampino isn't at all aesthetically pleasing or clean. Don't expect you use credit/debit cards either. Every place I went to was cash only. Would I recommend this to anyone, not really unless they wanted something extremely affordable. Will I ever stay here again? No.

Close to Ciampino Airport...but that's about it.
Very convenient location because I needed to fly from Ciampino Airport the next morning, and a shuttle bus leaves from just outside the hostel. Unfortunately, the hostel receptionist gave me the incorrect shuttle time, meaning I was pushed for time and a bit stressed getting to my flight. Go outside and check the timetable yourself!! The bed and the room in general was very comfortable, but the showers and bathrooms weren't. There were three showers, one was broken and the other two were only a trickle of water which was cold. There is a common room with a television, but no movies that I could find, and nothing was done by the hostel to encourage socialising - no events or any advertisement of any local bars/events. Got the general vibe that the staff merely couldn't be bothered working here. Would not stay here if I wanted to see Rome, and might have stayed on at my previous hostel and arranged transport to the airport from there.

Close to the airport, good for one night!
Good for overnight stay after late flight or before early flight. However, you have to be very tired as walls are thin and there was loud noises (door bell, other guests, ...) throughout the whole night. Wouldn't have stayed for more than one night. Furniture is simple but functional and clean.

Choisi pour sa location proche de l´aéroport Ciampino, plutôt qu´autre chose, Le Central Inn Station Hostel est un hostel normal dans sa catégorie de prix. Idéal pour rester une ou deux nuit pour prendre l´avion, ou bien pour se rendre à Rome et visiter. Le staff est très sympathique, l´hostel était quasiment vide quand j´y étais.

Vi anlände sent till flygplatsen och använde hotellet som övernattning en natt för att resa vidare dagen där på. Vi hade ett rum med 2 enkelsängar och en våningssäng. Inget fönster. Fräscht badrum och det fanns gratis wifi och luftkonditionering. Bra standard för priset under 9 euro. Tågstation och buss till flygplats snett över gatan. Frukosten på cafeet intill bestod av croissant och kaffe :) Funkade perfekt för vårt syfte.

Parcours du combattant et mode UCPA...
Il n'est pas indiqué explicitement qu'il faut prendre un bus de Ciampino jusqu'à l'hôtel et que le 1er bus du matin est à 6h50 donc taxi (20€) pour aller à Ciampino pour les 1ers vols ! Et pas de petit déjeuner avant 6h30... Chambre sans fenêtre avec juste une imposte en partie haute...

Mala atención La limpieza deja mucho q desear Si vas a ese hotel porque al otro día viajas es preferible quedarte en Roma y coger el autobuses desde términi aunque tengas q madrugar un poco mas el autobús son 6€ y el taxi desde el hotel son 20€ ya que el horario de autobús no es fiable y llegar al hotel tb difícil así q lo q te ahorras en transporte usarlo para un hotel mejor
