“Helpful and clean”

Hotel was pretty much as advertised. Modern rooms. Clerk was very helpful. Used his computer to print airline bording passes. No restaurant at hotel itself, but at least 3 within 30 second to 3 minute walk. Do yourself a favor and get directions for hotel pick up at Fumiacino. (Exit Terminal 3 Arrival level, turn right and go all the way to the end for space #28).

“Clean, efficent room near airport”

As advertised, this is a clean room near the airport. Hotel sits back off the street in a commercail area and is a little hard to find. But it served us well as a late night haven to allow us to catch an early flight. About a five minute drive to drop off the rental car and get to the terminal.

“Close to airport”

We needed a hotel close to the airport for an early morning flight and this met the need. This resembles a good american style hotel with above average bed linens, reasonably comfortable bed, and very clean room. However, neither the size of room, hallway and lobby decor, or other features meet my definition of 4 stars. Neigborhood is mediocre, not very pedestrian friendly, though there is a pizzaria and good quality restaurant around the corner. There is also a hotel restaurant which serves the continental breakfast (okay) and terrible food for dinner. Don't eat there until they fire their current chef. It was the most expensive and only really bad meal that we had during 3 weeks in italy.

Area recommendations

Better to spend more money to stay at a hotel in downtown Rome unless quick access to the airport is critical. The one other advantage of this location (near airport) was that we were closer to Ostia Antiqua, which makes a good day trip for sight seeing. Taxi to Ostia Antiqua was expensive (as always in Rome) but worth it. We dd see a bus stopping near the hotel but did not have an opportunity to find out where it went.

“Needs a lot of improvement; but bathroom one of the best, but small.”

I would never class this hotel as a "4 star" hotel. The carpeting needs replacing and I wouldn't expect to see formica furniture in a "4 star" hotel. I also did not expect to have to pay the shuttle to get to the airport or to Rome. I feel these charges should have been included in the price. The hotel is located near the airport (about 5 minutes away) but it is not in a very good area. On the plus side, the room was clean and the bathroom was one of the nicer ones, although small. The staff was very helpful and the buffet breakfast was good.

Area recommendations

The Hyatt Hotel, or the Marriott Hotel, real 5 star hotels. More expensive but worth the extra money in all respects, including all transportation charges. They have a nices atmosphere, better food, more services, etc.

“Close to airport”

If you need an inexpensive room close to the airport this is the place. They have all the modern conveniences and the rooms are very clean.

“Just a place to sleep”

We needed a place to sleep before our big travel back home. This place was right next to the airport. It was simple, clean, and comfortable. Pretty much all you can ask for since all we really needed was to kill time before our early flight. And there are a couple restaurants near by so that was also convenient.

“Nice hotel for the price by the Airport”

The hotel was clean and the staff nice. The transportation to the Airport was on time and fast. It would be nice if they had a map to help walk to local eating establishments but other than that it worked for what we needed. Other hotels by the airport can be so much more expensive for a nights stay to fly out or getting in.

Area recommendations

except for flying in or out based on your flight schedule I would stay downtown near the Metro and use the Metro to get around. It takes you to walking distance of the the best attractions is on time and cheap.

“Airport Location.”

This hotel was great. Location was exactly what we were looking for. You totally get what you paid for. My boyfriend and I only stayed for one night but the staff was so helpful and respectful. A little disappointed in the breakfast bar, not many options but yet still a great experience.

Area recommendations

Don't stay directly in Rome. In June they started a tourist tax that doesn't apply on towns just outside of Rome. This was a close ride to the airport and the hotel service even provided a shuttle system.

“Worst Hotel”

Stained, dirty carpet in room. smell in hall, walkway to food service in adjoining hotel was full of potholes and difficult to navigate. Desk was not too helpfull. Would never stay there again. However food service in adjoining hotel was excellent.

Area recommendations

If one wanted to stay near the airport, stay at a major hotel, not a small unknown.

“Good for getting to FCO”

Nice, clean hotel that is very convenient for flying out of Rome's FCO airport. Excellent shuttle service to and from FCO airport, though it's a little overpriced (6 Euro per person in June 2011) in my opinion. Still, the shuttle was on time both times and fast and clean. Excellent breakfast with many selections that was included in the price of the hotel. All the people at the desk I spoke to were able to communicate in English, which was appreciated.
