The pool was dirty and couldnt be used after 6.30pm and you had to wear a bathing cap and were not allowed to dive in???? The everning buffet was good

Hotel is quite a way out of the centre of town & you need to use the bus & Metro to get in & out. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Clean & tidy. Breakfast good, never tried the bar or other meals, was in Rome, so ate there!

They advertised on Expedia that there was easy transportation access to downtown Rome. This unfortunately was not true. Transportation was a logistical nightmare. We ended up spending a fortune and taxi cabs. It would’ve been much easier to pay additional money and be in the center of town.

There was a movie being filmed at the hotel which was disruptive. Our air conditioning didn't work properly and the pool wasn't open during our entire stay.

Decent hotel, rude staff
Room was clean and shower was nice. Entire hotel staff is pretty rude and sarcastic. Stayed there for four nights and not once was greeted or smiled at, even at check in. Booked here since it was cheaper than stays closer to Rome but honestly wish I just spent the extra money to be closer to Rome and have better customer service. Good choice if you want to save money but the cost to get to Rome is pricey and inconvenient by public transit.

Not good location very difficult to get to .out of the way near a free way !!had to walk through a supermarket car park to get to hotel .the place was dead .no entertainment no iron available it's a 4 star charging 7 euros to iron 1 item breakfast was ok a transfer to the metro stop nothing to get back had to get on the bus then walk thru car park!!

Ok stay
The overall stay was good. The male receptionist was mean and unkind, but all the other staff was helpful. Please bring an adapter with you though. Their electrical plug is different from the one we use in North America and it may be difficult to get one to buy at the nearest shopping area close to the hotel.

Nice hotel, not far from Rome attractions
Good hotel and nice staff. Not far from main Rome attractions if you want to drive or hire a taxi. Taxi to Colosseum costed us only 20 Euros. The hotel is about 2-3 km from the Metro station, but it took us about 35 minutes to reach there by free shuttle in the morning traffic. The only annoying thing for me was that they do not provide irons!

the shower have black mold in the corners.
the service is great. the breakfast is included, is the best breakfast far a way the I had. You can request FREE cappuccino. The staff does not understand English that well.

Long walk
The hotel was a little hike up the hill from the bus stop. You had to hike up hill with your luggage and it was not easy finding in the dark.

Quiet and Secure Hotel
Very pleasant stay. Restaurant has decent food and reasonably priced. Far from anything and everything by foot. Require either personal vehicle or taxi to get to anywhere. Hotel is funky boutique where indeed everything is black in colour.

A good hotel to relax
The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The only problem is with the public transportation. The hotel far from the attraction and the closest subway station is cornelia. There is a hotel shuttle to the subway station but only three times 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 am. Once I checked in I asked for a late check out and the receptionist agreed and put a note in my room account, they changed their mind at the same day of checking out and asked me to leave the room 12:00 pm. This was annoying and won't happen in any other respectable hotel.

Great hotel with good links into Rome city centre.
Black Hotel is in a nice peaceful part of Rome not far from the city centre. It is both clean and comfortable and has a great restaurant. It makes for the perfect base to visit Rome.

Style At All Costs
The Black Hotel is well named, being almost totally black inside and out . This made negotiating stairs somewhat hazardous. We didn't sample the lift as we were only one floor up. We booked it as a bargain for a 4-star hotel, apparently not far from the Vatican. I would rate it 3-star at most, though it was too cold just before Easter for the pool to be open. The hotel is actually quite a long way out, though they did run a courtesy bus in the mornings to the nearest metro station, which was one stop from the terminus. Otherwise, buses ran every half hour. Breakfast was included, but for half our stay it included cold scrambled eggs and cold coffee. Otherwise we ate only a starter there, due to the price. If we went again I would look for somewhere more central..

Too far from the centre.
The online blurb was misleading. It was not "close" to St Peter`s. The hotel shuttle was useful, and appreciated, in the mornings, but it was still a trek into the city. Reception staff were sometimes surly. The morning I left, for example, having checked out and said thank you, I was met with a stoney silence and mute response. The room was ok, but an insistent burr from the building`s ventilation system, or other source, disturbed a good night`s sleep. The breakfast was excellent staff in the dining room were most attentive and helpful. Overall it the hotel did not deserve a 4* rating

4 star hotel
when I arrived at the hotel they didn't had our reservation was a mistake between hotel and Expedia communication, but at last they let us stay until next day to resolve the problem.. The hotel is good a really like the food and staff but is a bit far to the centre we need to take one bus and metro and this take around 45min and in the weekend is more complicated cuz doesn't have so much frequency of transport in the area so the advice us always use taxi!

Comfortable, but very Dark inside all corridors poorly lit. Very clean though, reception staff very un polite and un helpful sometimes very rude specialy the bold male on night shift. Located away from everything there is only a supermarket nearby but difficult to carry shopping over a steep hill. No food food available nearby I would not stay here again

The meal in the restaurant was terrible. Extremely salty. We were unable to eat it. The waiter asked how the meal was and we explained the salt issue. He wasn't interested. On a positive the free shuttle to the metro was convenient for early morning tours.

Bell'albergo anche se un po' fuori mano e si necessita di un mezzo per spostarsi. Peccato non avere potuto usare la piscina perchè in manutenzione e lo abbiamo saputo al momento del check in.

Pratique et très convenable.
Je suis une habituée. A part la salle du petit déjeuner qui pourrait être plus gaie et plus fournie. Par contre j’aime beaucoup la déco de la terrasse et de l’accueil.

Comodo per raggiungere il raccordo, in una zona tranquilla. La struttura è abbastanza recente ma non è ben mantenuta. Hotel is located out of centre of Rome, but there is avalaible city transport. Hotel is very nice and comfortable, services were in very good level. Breaktast was perfect.

(Anbefaler å laste ned taxi-appen: Freenow) -Koselig uteplass foran hotellet. -Fin frokostbuffet med en barista som lager kaffe. -Bildene i bestillingen stemmer ikke. -Det er ikke badekar på superior rom. -Tapeten på veggene på rommet var begynt å løsne. -Mye spindelvev og edderkopper. -Hard seng Informasjonen stemmer ikke. -Det er ikke gratis transport til fornøyelsesparker. -Det koster mellom 3 og 7 euro per plagg å vaske. -Det er gratis for sprinkelseng på rommet. -Bassenget kan de stenge for sesongen når de selv føler for det, å tar ikke hensyn til bestillinger. -Lite imøtekommende ansatte, men hyggelige renholdere.
