"What a pleasant stay. The property is a short walk from the train station; go out, turn left and keep left until you see the building. The housekeeper is very kind and accommodating. "We loved the wayside whiskey barn. We had the twin room which was tastefully decorated. The whole place was real class. We had a full english for breakfast which was delicious. "We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. "Initial impressions weren’t good-outside the caravan was scruffy with an old dog lead lying around and uncut grass around the door. However the caravan itself was clean and very comfortable. There was a smell of gas outside as well from the canisters but we contacted the owner who very promptly got someone to sort the problem. The caravan also needs a plug in the kitchen sink and a new light in the shower room. Overall I would say the caravan is comfy but needs some TLC."

"Location and a comfy bed and lovely bath were the only redeeming features of this house. Lots of damp throughout which you can smell straight away also see. There was a large area on the stairs where wallpaper was missing. The twin room smelled strongly of urine which I feel came from the carpets. The perfect spa hideaway
"We loved every single minute of our stay here! The suite we stayed in was heavenly. Having the use of your own steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was worth every penny. The main hotel spa area was well maintained and clean too. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A combination of cooked to order and buffet. Didn't need to eat again until dinner! Would highly recommend."
