We had 5 family members staying at the hotel. We had a wonderful time and everything was great! My sister lives in Rapid City and it was very convenient for her also. The staff was wonderful and accommodated us in our room choices. We will definetly stay there again.

“relaxed vacation”

My wife and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous . Its not a five star hotel, but we did not expect it to be. The only thing dissapointing was the small plates for breakfast, you could only eat 1 waffle at a time. The biscut and gravy was good. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

“Sufficient to our needs”

This is a perfectly adequate place to stay the night ... clean and comfortable. Two things to be aware of however: 1) our room was a non-smoking room but a very faint odor of smoke was detectable, which faded after a minute -- stronger in the hall though; 2) we were hoping for a quick dip in the pool before bed but were disappointed to discover that the pool was outside (not mentioned on the website) and it was a fairly cold evening.

We stayed there on our way to Yellowstone. The price was absolutely OK. Room was very clean, staff was friendly. Complimentary continental breakfast was fine.

“great central location for sightseeing adventures”

Very nice typical Day's Inn. Very good housekeeping and staff. Location is ideal for all the attractions. Most within a 30 to 60 mile drive. Good diner within walking distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other typical eating establishments within 5 miles. Easy access to Rapid City airport. Traffic is no problem around the sity.
