Suite 309 - Gorgeous Apartment | 0 Bed, 1 Bath

We only allow dogs in our pet friendly rooms. One dog is free, but the second is an additional $25 one time. Please let us know if you are bringing a second dog.

The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction. This apartment is located on the second floor.

The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.

We call this unit a studio, but there is a separate bedroom with a door.  The kitchen is not full size, but definitely has what you need if you would rather stay in!

There is a flight of steps to get to Suite 309.

The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking.

The kitchenettes are perfect for the vacationer or longer term out of town employee who needs some local housing. Located on Mt. Rushmore Road. 1.5 miles to downtown Rapid City, 26 miles to Mt. Rushmore. Local hiking and biking trail heads as close as .5 miles from property. Great selection of restaurants and stores in walking distance. .75 miles from Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Notes

We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive anytime after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive we are near by.

Great, dog friendly place to stay in Rapid City!

We really enjoyed this apartment while in Rapid City. It’s super close to amenities like gas stations and grocery stores, also has a couple of restaurants within walking distance and lots of fast food options. We were happy with how close it was to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore and other attractions. It was the perfect landing spot after we hiked and explored.

The room was even BETTER than the listing looked online. Really appreciate the lawn area for the dog- it made it much easier to take care of her while in the city. The AC was a lifesaver. Overall, we will choose this place again!

Just what I needed

Clean and secure, the apartment is central to the city with easy access to the highways and the airport. I bought some groceries and cooked several meals. Having a refrigerator was great. I would recommend to anyone.

Clean and updated unit - good for Black Hills exploration

Unit was clean and ready upon arrival. As stated in description and photos. Our unit was good for a couple and had plenty of room. Basic kitchen and fridge allowed you to make a meal or two if you wanted. Open space for dining/living room, plus separate bedroom. Only concern was a bit of noise from busy street. Our unit was close and made sleep a challenge at times.
