“great location to stay and relax”
great place to stay, travelled with 6 other friends and we all enjoyed our stay, did not find the noise from the clubs or street that bad. Some of us had rather badly behaved guests in neighbouring rooms and the hotel was happy to move us to quieter floors without any trouble. staff friendly and welcoming, specially the guys on the pooldeck. English was no trouble with all the people we spoke with whilst there. Will stay again
“good value for money, good location”
good value for money, good location, but hotel owners should invest in teaching employees universal 'english language'......even street vendors know minimal english, nothing is more frustrating than asking a question in about 6 ways and still get nowhere as they dont understand what you are asking..... breakfast menu is limited if you dont eat thai, indian, vietnamese, japanese.
“Great value and location”
If you want to be in the heart of Patong Beach then this is a hotel to consider. We were a large family group - ages 15 - 80 and everyone enjoyed their stay. Breakfast was great, rooms clean and comfortable. The hotel seems to be the tallest in Patong so it was always easy to find our way back to it!
“Will stay here again!”
Although some of the exterior of the hotel could do with a lick of paint, the overall hotel is lovely. The pool area is very nice with three pools on different terraces offering privacy and shaded areas as well as full sun. Breakfast buffet is good, but as they cater for lots of different nationalities and religions the bacon is hidden under the counter in the egg staion, you just have to ask for it. Service is excellent and for a late aftrenoon cocktail around the pool they have a happy hour so your cocktails will cost under US$3.00. We prefer the delux rooms in the Royal wing as there is quite a bit of noise from surrounding nightclubs in the superior rooms. The Royal wing is a horse shoe shape so delux rooms are nice and quiet. The beds are typical Asia quality in that they have a pretty hard matress, upside is they provide heaps of really nice pillows. For the money, this hotel is great value. I have stayed here a few times before and would stay here again.
“Pretty good for the price”
This is a fairly basic (4* ?) hotel but in a very conveniant location to most tourist activities in Patong Hotel staff were good although reception at Check out was a bit slow and seemed a bit dis-interested. Rooms are a good size and very clean
“need to know before you go”
Located in the heart of Patong, the Royal Paradise Hotel and Spa is great for immediate access to shopping centres, street stalls, markets and a short walk to beachfront. Make sure you take advantage of the many local Thai massage opportunities and don't leave without having your laundry completed in one of the many local laundries- nothing like returning home with a suitcase of clean clothes. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, pool is excellent-especially the swim up bar and the room was most comfortable. However night time street activity immediately outside hotel in side alleys is extremely disturbing with very loud street parties until all hours of the night, every night. I wish I'd known about this before I'd arrived as I'd have asked for a room away from the noise. All in all though, I had a great stay and would certainly return.
“Great value for money”
This hotel was exremley friendly and well situated. The only negative would be that the pool bar wasn't used as it should have been. No music or vibes. Otherwise very happy with the hotel.
“i dont raet this hotel more then 3 star”
staff of the hotel are very good and naic but the dedor of room r very old when i book i for 4 star i want 4 star hotel not 3 star
“Best value”
The hotel was central to everything. I swimming pool arrear was fantastic with lovely relaxing gardens. We had a wonderful driver that was associated with the hotel, he took us on a tour of Phuket, he spoke very good English and was very informative. We used him as our driver for the entire stay. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty or variety. GREAT value for money.
“I'll be back!!”
For the price I paid the hotel was excellent. It had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast each morning was superb and the staff in the hotel were very friendly. The only downside for me was no free WiFi but other than that great!!
