- As some other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are compact, but are also excellently equipped, smart, and tidy. - Excellent bathroom. - Room included small safe and fridge (stocked with a selection of free water and OJ) - On the 5th floor, and in a SW facing room, the room was very quiet at night with no noise from the station. - Staff were excellent. - There are plenty of 24 hrs free left luggage lockers. - and snack shop - Free wifi throughout - Highly recommended hotel for a short stay in central Paris

Awesomness!!! The room looks better than the pictures on line! Everything was great and super comfortable. The hotel is close to everywhere. The metro is right there, the views are beautiful. We will stay there again next time we travel!

“close to Gare de Lyon”

We found this hotel very conveinently located. It is next door to the Gare de Lyon that made it easy for us to catch our train to the south of France. The Metro is also right there to access the rest of Paris. A 5 minute walk to the Sienne river. The room was clean but not large. Bed was a queen bed and I found it on the hard side but that is just me. The room was modern and so was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was large with many choices to select from. We arrived at the hotel in the morning and they provided us with coins to lock our luggage up while we explored the city.

“Overnight stop”

Booked as an overnight stop as had to be at Gare de Lyon early next morning. Station next door very convenient. Arrived late. Upgraded room. Room on small side but otherwise excellent. Fridge with small selection of complimentary soft drinks a nice touch. All staff very professional friendly and polite. Would certainly use again and recommend.

Fantastic stay topped off with getting engaged!! Lovely atmosphere, with some fantiastic areas for dining and drinking. Epic views great location, convenient for train/air travellers. Also close to city transport and restaurants. Good, comfortable facilities, and reasonably sized room. Whether you are in Paris for business or leisure purposes, you are sure to be impressed with the Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon. Its classic style, contemporary amenities and strategic, central location make it an ideal choice for any important occasion.

“Perfect!”

It has to be remembered that this hotel is in the most idealic location for anyone travelling into or out of Paris and, in paricular, Gare de Lyon. There will be a bit of noise associated with being in the vibrant part of any city and this is no different. Notwithstanding, this hotel was perfect in every way for us and made that much enjoyable by the courteous efficiency of the staff. Would definately stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
