“Clean room, big enough bathroom !”
My daughter and I found the room to have adequate space to unpack and the bathroom had a place for our cosmetics, etc. Inconveniently located far from a Metro stop.
“Simple elegance”
We have stayed at this hotel for the past 15 years and have enjoyed it time and time again...it's charming with simple elegance! It's quaint, clean and you can enjoy a classical breakfast of delicious French breads and pastries. The neighborhood of Montparnass is embedded in great cuisine, spectacular views of the city from Montparnass Tower, and an array of small shops with great finds.

Very good location, clean and safe area. Room is rather small but very clean, bathroom is clean, front desk staff very helpful. Air conditioning works well. Internet is slow (wireless), Wifi did not support UMA well. Restaurants closeby, residential area with all services. Easy access to public transportation. Gare Montparnasse just a few blocks away.

The hotel is located in a residental area which is just 10 mins. walk from Gare Montparnasse. There is also a Metro station(Pernty) which is just 5 mins. away which we mainly use to get to all the places we visitied. Hotel's breakfast is not worth the price. There are "Bakeries" at all corners of the street and a groceries store just down the street. There are also a lot ot cafes and eateries around the hotel. Prices ranges from 8 Euros a meal per person to 30 Euros for a very fine SEAFOOD dinner at the end of the street on Main Blvd.. Take the France airport bus to and from airport is my recommendation especially if you are travelling with heavy luggages. We took the RER from the airport but s more complicated than we thought. We have to make a couple of connections in Metro system before we can get to the Gare Montparnasse where we get off. If this is the first time you visit Paris and plan to hit most of the tourist sites, I highly reommend you to purchase the Paris Pass(not the Combo Pass). Order it online before you depart for Paris. Otherwise, you can only purchase it at one location in Paris and is a hassle to get there.

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as great as the first one! Rooms are relatively small, but very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great and all the staff was extremely helpful in giving directions, helping book taxis, etc. Montparnasse is a great neighborhood for a stay in Paris, with lots of movie theatres, bars, restaurants, cafes and easy access to public transportation. I'll definitely go back and recommend it strongly!
