"Great location and very helpful staff. A/C worked beautifully. Internet not so much. Not luxurious, but most things work. Papantla is not on the tourist trail but nearby El Tajín does draw visitors, and many stay here. If you want luxury hotels, stay in Poza Rica. If you prefer a charming Mexican town and real local flavor, stay here. Just don’t expect the Hilton. "

"It was okay. The neighborhood was not the best... by far. You cannot walk outside once light has thinned down but, we used it only to sleep. We had to stop over in the town so, it was fine. Inside, the rooms and dinning rooms were very good though."
