Nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast selection, in room ice bucket and coffeetea selection, and nice walk in shower. The front desk staff was kind and helpful.

The AC wasnt working, you can hear everything from the hall and neighboring rooms. Limited breakfast options.. Almost a motel level hotel.

“First impression is last” the front desk lady was not trained to talk to the guests politely and smile which is basic for front desk job. The room was nice and clean but there was too much noise coming from outside and the AC was making noise all night.

Old fashioned but very appropriate for staying 1 or 2 nights to run errands on Ottawa. I love free parking. That's makes a difference for me. Close to the mall is also an advantage.

If you get a end room you will get lots of morning light really early due to having two sets of windows. The adjoining door next door made for noise travel which was annoying up till 12.30am. The room was also at the elevator entry, noise again! The girl group visiting my neighbor at 11.40pm had to be told to move along by myself as they made loud conversation right at the door next to mine. The room was nicely set out but the bath tub surround could do with a deep clean. The bed pillows where nice when sitting but not so to sleep on, i prefer a flatter one. The TV was on a side wall and was awkward to watch from the bed. The breakfast area was in the basement, a bit tight for seating but had plenty of food. I would stay again but know to make sure my room had better placement.

Don’t let the outside appearance fool you! I was quite concerned when I pulled up, as it’s quite run down looking, but the inside was modern, and spotless. Super quiet as well!

Great place. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Great price. The area is not great. But that's not their fault. Convenient by mall. The Breakfast is very limited. But over all its great value and the room was better than most bigger chain hotels.

For the price, a very good value. Keep in mind that you are removed from the center of Ottawa, but with a couple of malls nearby as well as a few restaurant options, it's very good for the money. Even the free breakfast was orderly!

Very poor. First, elevators had to be reset. Toilet plugged with a few pieces of toilet paper. Plug-ins very loose, would not hold phone charger. Freezing cold and a/c came on by itself after I turned it off. Area very run down.
