“Great Room, Great Breakfast, Great Location”

On of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time! Great value in this area! Free buffet breakfast with lots of choices; free parking; large, clean studio room; great location. What more could you ask for?

“A good place to stay”

The Residence Inn Costa Mesa was a very satisfactory hotel. The room was attractive and reasonably spacious, the bed was firm, the kitchen was very good for a hotel room kitchen, the bathroom adequate. The hot buffet breakfast was good, with oatmeal, waffles, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and once a breakfast burrito. The only minor problem I had with the room was that it was dark - but when you're there mostly to sleep that's not so bad.

“Pleasant stay”

We were very pleased with our stay. Having complimentary internet and breakfast was so wonderful. The breakfast was terrific. The room was comfortable and we took advantage of having a full kitchen plus amenities in room. The kids loved the pool, jacuzzi and work out area. Our only disappointment was that the fire pit was broke. They had games available, but we didn't have a chance to take advantage of that. We were given an area map and coupons and great suggestions.

“Great Place, Great Price”

This is honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at recently, to include 5 star hotels that cost a fortune! Very comfortable, and very clean. I expected a continental type breakfast since it was free, but was pleasantly surprised by the choices provided which included waffle makers for anyone wanting to make their own waffles. The cost of this weekend getaway was far less than what I would expect to pay for its type.

“Highly Recommended!”

I love Residence Inn by Marriott. This particular location makes you feel like your stay is very “homey.” The hotel rooms are basically apartment style complexes. Literally, they look like apartment units. I stayed in a King so my hotel room felt like a studio. The hotel room was complete with a kitchen and a refrigerator. They also provide plates, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster. Just don’t leave anything dirty in the sink, otherwise it’ll be tossed. They provide a sofa and TV set in the living room area. The AC/heater unit works excellent. The bathroom is clean. They also have closets. The hotel room also provides free wi-fi. One unique reason why I love the Residence Inn by Marriott chain is that they provide a free buffet breakfast every morning. They give you a FULL breakfast. They serve hot food such as eggs, sausage, and waffle. They have cereal, bagels, hot coffee, and fresh juice. This particular hotel provides rice and miso soup packets. They also slightly change the hot breakfast menu every morning. I had potato pancakes, potato wedges, and breakfast biscuits over the course of a few days. They also serve free complimentary dinners i=yn Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Depending on where your hotel room is, it might be a bit of a walk to the lobby. The hotel service is friendly. I would totally recommend it to anyone who is planning to stay in south Orange County.

“Friendly Staff, Good Value”

My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The hotel staff was very friendly and the location was very convenient. We also appreciated the free parking, which is becoming increasingly rare in OC. Although the hotel is located close to the freeway, it was very quiet and we had a restful night. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of food and a good presentation. The pool area was pleasant and well maintained. The room itself was clean, but the upholstery on the couch was stained and should be deep cleaned or replaced. Overall, a very nice stay.

“Good value, good breakfast, good Light evening meal”

Close to Orange County airport but no plane noise. Close to great shopping.plenty of parking, housekeepers were warm and friendly, as were the men and women at the front desk. Configuration of the entrance and the walls/fences engender comfort and security. It is well managed, the best managed of all the Marriott hotels I have stayed in. Highly reccomemded.
