“Good service and value, would go back”

A last minute one-night stay in Waikiki before meeting my travelling party brought me to Waikiki Sand Villas. It was very well located, a few blocks back from the beach, with great service, and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back

“Hawaii 2011”

The staff do a great job assisting any way they can. The pool and hot tub are great. There is a nice continental breakfast and also a small restruant service with a nice sports bar attached. We really enjoy coming back there every year. The remodel and upgrades are also nice. Rooms are clean and a great value. There is a nice view of the canal as well. The hotel is in a good location to get to everything. The folks managing the front desk will help you with anything youneed. They really have a great team as this hotel.

“Waikiki's best basic family hotel”

Older hotel but recently fixed up. Very comfortable, all basic needs well met. All the staff completely obliging, and with a smile. Location only a very few blocks from the beach and from good shops, grocery store and restaurants in central Waikiki. This was my second visit in less than two years, and when in Honolulu I will stay there again. Just register early to be sure of a room. Rates very reasonable too for all of this.

“Great Stay again.”

This hotel is very clean and accomodating. We have stayed on 3 different trips and highly recommend the hotel for those reasons. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a bit of street noise in some of the rooms.

“Good view of Ala Wai Canal”

It was 3 blocks from the beach and easy walking to the main road of Waikiki. An ABC store was at the end of the block.

“Home away from home”

I couldn't not have asked for a greater experiance. I traveled by myself and the staff at the Waikiki sand villa were amazing. The bar staff were very respectful and had great customer service, the food was excellent and everything was priced very fairly. I would reccommend this for anyone that is looking for a great place to rest their head. It's quaint and quiet in a great location.

“Very Nice Hotel”

Hotel was in a great location. Rooms were very clean and quiet, except the air conditioner was a little noisy. We had a good view of the city, canal, and golf course. Breakfast was a quick snack. You can choose between 2, 3, or 4 pieces of toast, a croissant (when available), canned pineapple, juice, coffee and tea. The swimming pool was very nice. We had it to ourselves and enjoyed swimming in the dark. It was a short 2 block walk to the famous Waikiki Beach and about 100 restaurants. The hotel has a bar and grill, but we never took advantage of it. The valet parking was very friendly and professional. The hotel had towels that they let us take to the beach everyday. It would have been nice to know this in advance of our stay (since we packed towels). The Waikiki area is very busy at night, with thousands of people walking its streets and shopping. The Waikiki Sand Villa Hotel is close enough to be convenient, but just far enough away to miss all the big crowds. There is only about 12 floors, so it is one of the shorter buildings in the area. The room had a small TV, a small refrigerator, and plenty of dresser drawers to hold all of our stuff. We also had a lanais (balcony) with a table and 2 chairs where we would eat our wiki wiki (quick snack) breakfast every morning. There was soap and shampoo provided in the bathroom. My wife also really liked the toilet seat warmer. The wood floors were uncomfortable when sandy, but they were cleaned daily. Thank you

“Excellent location for the price!!!”

This hotel is located three blocks from the beach and had an excellent view of a lagoon. I was able to walk to all the local attractions. I would say an excellent location for the price.
