“Everything you'd want in one place!”

Everything about the Hilton Hawaiin Village was perfect. The room was pretty and comfortable, and the beach & lagoon were uncrowded and beautiful. The location was amazing...walking distance to shops & great restaurants, but we still felt like we were secluded from the crowds, and the views were amazing. There were koi ponds, pink flamingos, tropical birds, and even penguins on the grounds! The flowers & foilage were fragrant and pretty. We just loved everything about this resort. Also, the staff was so kind & friendly; from the check-in desk to the restaurant staff and the store clerks; all were great. I would definitely go back!

“Hawaii's Best Hotel”

I really don't know if it is the best hotel in Honolulu, but I can't imagine any other hotel giving any better & friendly service/staff. The atmosphere was great and the hotel is just gorgeous. They maintain it constantly...made us feel like royalty. Also, there are plenty of shops and a variety of restaurants in and surrounding this hotel. I would love to go back and would also try any other Hilton Hotel on my next travel vacation.

“A village on it's own”

We upgraded our stay to a partial ocean view room and it was worth every penny. The view from our balcony was amazing. Everything you need can be found on the property. From expensive designer bags to an ABC store, you don't even have to get out of the "village" to have a good time. The food's great. I recommend the ramen shop that serves the takoyaki. It's the best! I highly recommend this place! P.S. They have a private beach and the largest pool (super pool) on waikiki.

“Great Hotel But...”

This is a huge, very nice hotel on Waikiki. Service was impeccable. The staff was friendly. The grounds are lovely. My child had fun at the kids club. The Kids club was limited to only 20 kids so sign up as soon as possible because demand far exceeds capacity! Also, you pay for almost everything and boy do you pay! The food in the hotel restaurants is good but very expensive. Drinks are expensive. Beach umbrellas and chairs are expensive, if you decide to rent them. Even renting a floatie for the day is expensive. In addition, stands all around the pools sell floaties, snorkeling gear, water balls, and sun tan lotion. Yes, it's expensive but, even worse, you're not allowed to bring the floaties or balls into the pool which is a real bummer for all the little kids who can see this beach/pool stuff. In addition, there weren't enough chairs around the pool for everyone who wanted one, so get there early! Be aware that they police the area for chair squatters too.

“Perfect for all ages family resort”

We had a blast at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We came with our kids, ages 14-22 and we all found plenty to do. We had two adjoining rooms and it was like having a condo. One room became the quiet room with the internet and a more relaxed atmosphere, reading, napping, etc. and the other was where we congregated to socialize and plan our days. We rented kayaks, and swam in pools and the ocean. On fridays, everyone goes down to the beach to watch fireworks put on by the hotel..so cool! The hotel helped us reserve activities like snorkeling and the ABC store on the compound was a godsend...cheap snacks, groceries, wine, souvenirs. We also loved the ice cream shop!! We were within walking distance of the mall and waikiki and we are coming back to the same hotel this winter for more sun and fun! We felt very safe letting our kids loose day or night within the resort. The rooms were clean and spacious...we had 7 people and never felt crowded. Most of the restaurants were expensive but we found more reasonable ones nearby. We stocked our mini-fridge from the ABC store and they kept us supplied with coffee in the room. This hotel is so big it is an adventure exploring it. Warning...the pools are unheated and cold unless you have been in the ocean first. The hotel beach is immaculate and they provide towels. This hotel is so worth it!!!

“Very Impressed”

This place surpassed our expectations by a landslide. We were unaware of how huge this place was until it took us a while to find the check in counter. We assumed we would be staying at the Rainbow Tower which is pictured on the Expedia website but it appears we didn't read far enough to find out the resort consists of 5 different towers. We ended up on the 21st floor of the Kalia Tower which had a spectacular view of the other towers, ocean, and beach. The village consisted of local shops, an ABC store of course, Lous Vuitton, and Coach. The location of the hotel was within walking distance the beach, shops, stores, and just about everything else. I don't recall ever seeing a hotel with a flamingo pool next to the front desk so that was a nice touch. Everything went off without a hitch except for one little thing. I walked into our bathroom to find a small cockroach crawling up the wall. I would have been shocked to see this if I hadn't noticed even larger ones outside around the resort and various other places. I flushed it down the toilet and didn't think twice about it. If I had found it crawling in our bed I would have raised a stink but I was enjoying my vacation too much to mention anything to the hotel staff. The next time I am in Oahu I am definately booking a stay with the same resort and hight recommend it.
