“Great Rooms and Location.”

I was there from the East Coast with two small children. After a very long flight they made the check in process quick and were very friendly. It's a great hotel for families, and others. There's a poool and two hot tubs, barbecue grills a putting green area and a little snack bar that has island fare by the bar. The room are nice with lanais and plenty of room and each has a kitchen are with dishes, tableware, glasses and pots and pans provided. It's a slightly long block from the beach but not a hard walk at all, there are a lot of kids there you'll notice them in the pool but don't ever seem to hear other guest noise in your room even with all doors and windows open. We will absolutely stay there again. One caution, you pay 8 every 24 hours to park and you have to make sure you get out there and purchase another ticket before your time is up, it can not be done through the front desk. The garage staff, with one exception during our 6 day stay,. is amazingly surly and rather unpleasant.

“Great Experience”

Great View. The room was clean and well stocked. Hotel service was great. Pool and jacuzzi's were clean. Only one block from the beach so we walked to go snorkeling and surfing etc...Only bummer is we had to pay for parking but that is typical of Waikiki. I give it 5 out of 5 rating.

“Great value and wonderful family hotel”

If this is your price range and especially if you like having a kitchen & family area, this hotel can't be beat. We were very happy with all aspects and would definitely stay there again.

“Wonderful Experience”

When we arrived at the hotel, it was clean and beatuiful just as we expected it to be. During our first night at the hotel our air conditioning was not working. The hotel maintenance came and defrosted the air conditioning and told us to contact them if we had any further problems. The next day we continued to have problems and notified the front desk. They immediately handed us 2 keys and told us to pick the room that we would like. Once we picked the room, they moved our luggage into the new room. This room was a nice upgrade with a beautiful view of downtown Honolulu and of the beach. We received this upgrade at no extra cost. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Oahu. We are currently in the process of planning another Hawaii trip next year and plan to stay at the same hotel.

For the price, it was great. For a family of 5, we had plenty of room. Loved having the kitchen. Close to the beach. When we go back we will stay here. Staff was great in helping us find stores and places to see.Thank you Waikki Banyan for making our Oahu trip the best!!!!!!

“wanna go back as soon as possible....”

It was a great place to stay, nice and quiet, away from the tourist bustle and loud music from the main drag but still only like a leasure stroll away from waikiki beach, very close to city busses as well. Bre-Ann the concierge is amazing, she can get you whatever you want, she has the inside scoop :-) the staff was all great and very sweet. having a kitchen to cook meals in your room was a great plus saved huge amounts of money just by going to the grocery store, and cooking a few meals , there is also a little grocery store on the lobby floor which has everything you could possible need, during your stay.then there is a snack bar on the 6th floor with extremly great food, picked up a few meals there to complement the room cooking.the grills on the pool deck are very nice and clean ready to use anytime, the place is very kid friendly, i would love to return and will book with this hotel again. i absolutley loved it. hated to leave.

“"Anxious to Return - Hang Loose Hawaii"”

The stay at Aston at the Waikiki Banyan was awesome. Had never stayed in a condo before, it was great to cook either breakfast/dinner. We had oceanview from our balcony, an awesome view every morning to see the sail boats and surfers. Everything was very convenient and walking distance. The maintenance of the rooms was excellent. The room accommodated the 3 adults and a child perfectly. The sun deck on 6th floor was great to be able to swim and the playscape for the kids. We didn't get to utilize the grills, but we definitely will return to this place. The expedia people at the help desk were so friendly and savvy of all the events and how to get you there. The condominium employees at the front desk were very professional, prompt, and friendly. Being 2 blocks away from the beach was breath taking and relaxing. We had never been to Hawaii, so I researched and read reviews other people posted about the hotels versus condos and knew then, that I wanted to stay at a condo. We were there for 8 nights and 9 days, and we were constantly going places and doing things. We had someone in Hawaii to show us around, the days he had to work; we had pre-planned where and what we were doing next. Pictures do not do justice to the real thing in Hawaii. The sunset cruise, snorkeling, swimming w/tropical fish, and rode the Atlantis submarine (100ft under) to see the marine life under the ocean. The polynesian cultural center is a must. WOW!! Can't wait to go back to Honolulu!!

“Great place to stay without breaking the bank!!”

I stayed here for 10 days with my sister, my mom and a family friend. The room was large enough to comfortably accomodate all of us. The kitchen was clean and stocked with enough utensils and cookware - and it helped us save a lot of money on food. The pull-out sofa was quite comfortable and worked great for two people. The bedroom area was a little on the small side but just fine for our stay. The room was always clean and re-stocked every day. The sixth floor pool area was great...there are BBQ's for rent and they're kept very clean. There are a few very nice seating areas with some shade trees that are great for hanging out and talking while you eat. The pool is great - very clean and in a wonderful sunny location. There is also a snack bar right outside the pool fence with delicious food - plate lunches, drinks, candy, ice-cream...etc. What a wonderful idea! Smoking is allowed on the sixth floor outdoor area - this is very convenient for smoking guests who might otherwise have to go down to the street and off hotel property. I was very happy with how clean the entire hotel was and how helpful the staff was. The concierge was great with directions to attractions and how to get around Waikiki. The lobby was gorgeous with a huge waterfall and pond full of beautiful large koi...there was a coffee shop just outside of the lobby too! I really liked that this hotel is family friendly and I would absolutely consider bringing my family here - I think they would love it!
