Stayed there for a couple of nights on the Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Liked - Friendly and helpful staff. Room and the bathroom were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Disliked - tiny room with hardly enough space to even open your bags on the floor. Bathroom had no space/hooks to hang towels. If you open the window fully, you are pretty much exposed to rooms on the other side of the floor. A bit underwhelmed for the price paid but would stay again if it's just for 2-3 nights.

The hotel is just a few minutes away from the train station and the shopping area and plenty of restaurants and cafes.The hotel is basic but our room was clean and modern but I find it a bit noisy during night time .I can hear people talking outside the room and staff moving things around downstairs.Our hair dryer does not work but the receptionist gave us another one.However, the receptionist is very friendly and they can store your luggages for you.

Great location, really close to the train station and a short 10min walk to the beach/shopping. Room was small but that was known, overall really great stay.

Our sink plug got stuck twice meaning we have a sink full of water the whole time, the tap also spirts water out of the side. Toilet flush button was broken and came out the top of the toilet if you needed to flush. Towels also had rust stains on them

Small and noisy room but comfortable bed
Small room and small bathroom but luckily the bed was very comfortable. There was air conditioning but it blew directly onto the bed, so you couldn't leave the air conditioning on overnight and you couldn't open the window due to the noise from outside also at night. Opposite there is a second hotel very close, everything you do in the room is visible to others. If you don't want someone from the hotel opposite to see you, you have to cover the thick curtain, which makes the room dark. Noise from the corridor, every door closing and opening to another room and noisy pipes in the bathroom.

A lovely stay at Hotel Bristol
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bristol. The service was great and the room had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel is located around a 2 minute walk from the main train station with everything else including various tram stops, shops, restaurants and the coast all within walking distance. We were also able to store our bags on the day we checked out which was very helpful. The only slight criticism would be that the bathroom could use some attention; particularly the shower which is quite small and doesn’t drain the water quickly so you have to be mindful that it doesn’t overflow. Other than that, we would have no issues staying here again and would definitely recommend.

Great hotel, clean and in a perfect location to Nice Ville train station. The rooms seem to have been recently updated and are great, clean and tidy. Met all our needs for a relaxing stay in Nice. Highly recommend

A very well appointed hotel for any traveller. Room is fairly small but as you only sleep there it was adequate. Very friendly staff and a quick check in which was at 10:20pm due to late running train. Easy to find.

A no-frills hotel but my small, single room had everything I needed: decent shower, flat-screen TV, comfortable bed. I was on the back of the hotel so it was also very quiet - apart from the ubiquitous, noisy pigeons. I enquired about a kettle when I checked in and was given one. The room didn’t have a fridge, though - which is always a welcome addition. The location near Nice Ville station was very convenient and the area has quite a few restaurants - especially Vietnamese, if that’s your thing. Lastly, there was no problem storing my luggage the day I was leaving. All in all, I felt this was a good choice for a brief stay.

It's a good budget hotel in a great location, walking distance to the Promenade, the train station and the old city. However I can't rank it higher due to the complete lack of sound insulation, towards the outside and the hotel corridor. The street outside is very noisy, on weekends in particular. If you want to get any sleep don't forget your ear plugs.

Helpful and friendly staff
Such a nice hotel that was the perfect suit for our weekend getaway. The staff allowed us an earlier check in. The room was cleaned when requested. Any extra appliances that we needed such as travel advice or a iron we were served with immediately. The staff were always happy to help. And the best thing is they allowed us to keep our bags in storage even after check out as our flight was not till the late evening. This hotel I would highly recommend to anyone!

No frills budget hotel
I had the same experience as Colin (Sep22 review). Loose flush handle, non working hair dryer etc. The staff are pleasant and friendly and gave us a replacement hair dryer and kept our bags on check out. It’s a pity though that the photos don’t show that the toilet is tiny or the triple room shown in the pics doesn’t always face the front street.

Good location for the train station. Hotel is in need of a good repair man! The toilet flush was broken, the sink plunger was broken, the hair dryer didn’t work and when we plugged in the very good replacement hairdryer we couldn’t get it out of the wall again for fear of electrocution or the socket coming off the wall! If you just need a clean bed for the night with no whistles or bows this works. They did also look after our bags before check in time and after check out on our last day so we didn’t have to drag them around Nice all day which was a bonus.

2 nights at Hotel Bristol
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, which was close to the main train station (Nice Ville) and also a short walk to the tram stop (Jean Medecin) that heads straight to Nice Airport. Check in was easy, the room was a good size and clean and had everything that we needed. Bathroom was a little small but adequate. We didn't have breakfast there but it was available. Easy walking distance to the old parts of the city and main shopping areas.

We got a really basic room with no views. There were not any special amenities in the room. We found lipstick mark on the glass that was in the room which shows clearly the staff didn’t clean the room properly. The location of this hotel is great because it’s only few steps away from train station.

Bra hotell med perfekt beliggenhet
Hotellet ligger perfekt til, kort vei fra Nice ville(togstasjonen). Gåavstand til alt. Gode senger, bra størrelse på rommene til å være i fransk storby. Godt ac anlegg og rengjøring daglig. Kan absolutt anbefale hotellet til familier eller andre som ønsker god beliggenhet og et greit hotell.
