“The best choice for families with kids”

We stayed in this property 2 years in the row. With 2 small kids the best choice- the beach 3-5 min. walk, everything for the beach was provided for free ( from kid`s beach toys to scuba gear for adults). I do not like room service, so I did not order it, but it is option if you wish for fee. Also you can ask for free internet (cable and parking are free). Full kitchen was my favorite and contained EVERYTHING you need for cooking. Also in compare to hotel room, this condo have additional sleeping space for kids in the living room. I would defenetly recommend this property for everybody!

“Excellent time was had by all”

My daughter and I enjoyed a 2 week stay at Hale Kamaole #334. We had a fantastic time, check in was quick and easy considering we had a late check in, the courtesy phone and instructions were easy to follow and greatly appreciated after a long flight, everything was well prepared and waiting for us. Our unit was very well outfitted and had everything we needed or wanted to start and make our vacation easy. It had a very warm and comfortable feeling throughout the complex. The evening gatherings at the BBQ and the spontaneous gatherings at sunset were great. The grounds and amenities were very well maintained daily.

Right across the street from Kamaole III beach and only a short walk from the best shops, bars, and dining that Kihei has to offer. Great accommodations for those seeking value instead of prestige.

“We can't wait to return to the same unit!”

We had never stayed at Hale Kamaole before and did not know what to expect. We were extremely pleased with our condo! Every unit has an ocean view from the lanai - what a great surprise! We watched the sunset every night from our lanai accompanied by the blowing of conch shells. The pool and barbecue area is easily accessible, and a nice beach is across the street. The grounds are well-maintained, with many beautiful flowering trees and plants. Trash bins are nearby so it is easy to dispose of waste and to recycle. The unit we stayed in (#151) was extremely well-equipped, with an abundance of kitchen needs and accessories, including little things like foil and plastic wrap. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels. Everything was clean. There was a mild musty smell in the bedroom, but that's hard to avoid in a beachy, damp environment. There are beach towels, a room safe, iron and ironing board,- basically everything we needed or wanted was there. The trip from the airport was fairly short - maybe 30 minutes. The location is very convenient to Kihei/Wailea/Makena. Maalea, where most boat trips leave from, is 30 minutes away. Retail stores, restaurants, etc. are all within reasonable distance. The check-in location was a little bit hard to find (it's offsite) and didn't allow early check-in, but it wasn't that big of a deal overall. We plan to stay at Hale Kamaole again when we return to Maui, hopefully in the same unit. What a great find!

“Very Impressed from Seattle”

We were very impressed with this condo. Newly remodeled, all the amenities and more. We were traveling with 2 little kids and it was perfect. We got a fantastic deal and realized that the minute we walked through the door. We will be staying her again, for sure!

“I love the hotel”

The Hotel was very clean. It had everything we needed. We had a 2 bed room with 5 people in the unit and we fit very comfortable. The hotel is right next to the ocean which has a great beach. It a closet there was noodles, snorkeling gear ect. that was can take to the ocean. The hotel is about 5-10 min walking away from shopping or dinning.

“Would go back to Hale Kamaole”

The only issue I had during the stay was checkin. We had a late checkin (after 5:30pm), where in this case you have to call a number to open a box at the condo and get the room key, then next day you have to go to their office, not located in the condo to sign agreement. Let's be clear this is NOT a hotel, but a condo managed by an office, either CRH or other. But after this was solved, everything was great. I got a 2 bedroom unit, and loved almost everything about it. It is a bit outdated, but if I wanted luxury would have gone to Wailea and spent lots of $$$. The beach in front of the condo (Kamaole 3) is great for families - during weekends you see that locals love it too: birthday parties, volleyball games, etc. I did not feel as a tourist, and that's what I wanted. Lots of parking, and the pool is great. There are 2 BBQ pits too, that people used daily, close to the pools. Full kitchen, bathroom supplies, free internet, etc. All I needed. Overall, definitely would go back there.

“Great place to stay in Kehei”

While the A/C units only in the 2 bedrooms would have made for a less than enjoyable stay during the day - if you're on Maui what are you doing hanging out in a condo? We walked to Kam3 daily for fun on the beach with the boogie bards provided in the room, and the Kehei boat ramp is almost as close, and is where the Maui Dive Shop Molokini snorkeling trip departs, which was also convenient. Good location to go to anywhere on the island in a short drive. Just beware that some blue rental car co's starting with Thr**** will very slowly try to up-sell you on EVERY option they can think of, even f there are dozens of people in line, meaning it could take an hour or more to get your car.
