“Excellent stay in Makati - Phillipines”

Hotel Celeste is a boutique Hotel in the Makati district and in an excellent location for shopping near Greenbelt. It provides extremely good service from the reception, housekeeping to the doorman. We were very impressed by the staffs willingness to go out of their way to provide assistance. The Rooftop balcony is great to sit in the evening and have a beer or two. The disappointment was in the Jacuzzi not working as we had chose this hotel because it had a pool. Additionally the breakfast could be improved as most items were cold or overcooked except for what you ordered fresh and it was cooked for you and to the way you liked it. I would like to see a variety of different breakfasts including local dishes as we were there for 5 days and found it was the same everyday. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Celeste and you cannot fault the promptness and the courteousness of the staff and yes we will be back - this time the jacuzzi may work!!!

“The polish of a big hotel in a warm and intimate setting.”

This was a great place to stay. Excellent location in the business district and across from the Greenbelt Mall. The hotel itself is well decorated and the rooms, well appointed. And best of all, was the friendly and attentive staff. Overall, this hotel combines the polish of a big hotel with a warm and intimate setting.

“Charming luxury”

I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel for any visitor who appreciates coming home to comfort and functional large, luxury. The dark wood decor was an amazing mix of contemporary and culture. The staff was warm, attentive, informative, courteous, friendly and pleasant. While there is no pool or gym there is free wi-fi and the location is ideally suited as it sits next to the Greenbelt Mall/venue with Western-style shopping and is mere blocks away from the Financial District. I was sad to leave.

“Boutique Hotel - small place; high on quality!”

This hotel is 20 min. from the airport, at the edge of the business district and right beside the Greenbelt Center for shopping and restaurants. It's small (40 rooms) and though it lacks a gym, the rooms and main areas are all elegantly updated yet relaxed and unpretentious. And finally, the staff are friendly and helpful.

“Amazing Service and Accomodations”

VERY Friendly staff!!! I can say enough of quality people they have hired at the Hotel Celeste. They greeted me at the door EVERY Time and learned my name on the first day to enhance the greeting. They even apologized when they didn't see me coming and I had to open the door for myself. I felt like a king for a few days. The breakfast that i paid extra for (some room rates have breakfast included) was nothing short of excellent. Fresh fruits, pancakes and eggs made to order, toast, cereal, and just about everything you could want in a breakfast. Again, wonderful staff and great service. The room was very clean and the bathroom was great. I felt very comfortable as I spent a lot of time there recovering from the long flights. The bed was very comfortable and helped we with much needed rests. Room service was timely and good. And the reception at the front desk was perfect. This hotel is an small, but more intimate type hotel. Yes you could to the big hotels in Manila, but if you want great service, the friendliest staff you could imagine, then stay at the Hotel Celeste.

As a first time visitor to the Celeste, but a regular to Makati, I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel. The room was excellent, very comfortable. The location next to Greeenbelt is perfect. In all I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If I was going to be very picky, the terrace bar closes at 10.
